QUOTE(jianwei90 @ Feb 18 2021, 04:56 PM) 823 down, 448 upsolid bank HLFG also dived, i'm guessing retailers sell existing blue chip to raise fund for penny goreng counter. Finance index dragging FBM down, any bank related news? portfolio -1.33% giving away past 2 days gain. If glove want to dive further i'm preparing to cut, see tmr's closing is critical. gold counter Tomei is up, probably a good hedge for other stocks. HereToLearn liked this post

QUOTE(Vanguard 2015 @ Feb 20 2021, 10:36 PM) Let's play tikam. I found one good stock with good FA and TA. Potentially, it can fly to the moon. It is selling at a very cheap price. whats the catalyst?Anyone here can afford it. The stock starts with the alphabet "F". Who wants to guess the name of the stock? |

QUOTE(ChAOoz @ Feb 22 2021, 09:32 AM) If they are years ahead why they buy in now ? Basically wrong judgement call and end up losing share holder money. i just point the obvious that everyone trading/investment time frame (therefore time risk) is different. Hence comparison is useless. If you look at Berkshire, they buyback like crazy at Q3 and their share price went up meaning the decision was sound and the market also feel it is the right move. But Q4 berkshire slowed down the repurchase as valuations has already gone up. Buffett management team also has a very long horizon on their investment. In the end, i find many CEO with great execution their flawed is in capital allocation. Hence good CEO many times failed and pay too much for M&As is a repeating theme. |

the key to win this game is summarized as: 1. solid FA filter (growth and undervalue) 2. trending TA filter 3. small risk high reward precision entry 4. damn good discipline to stick to 1-3. jinthevamp, PrinceJoe, and 5 others liked this post

QUOTE(skty @ Feb 23 2021, 11:01 AM) For TG, very conservative calculation, depend on your holding period, need to take the PAT pre-covid multiply with capacity expansion in percentage, get the EPS, multiply with fair PE, at least 25x for TG, and add on the pro-rated NTA over your holding period. close to my read 0.98-1.02if TG giving dividend, then your cost price need to reduce but the NTA also reduce. very simple way and conservative way of calculation without taking into account any risk, catalyst or new business opportunity which you need complex modelling. good luck. Hextar main support 0.995-1.03. good luck. |

QUOTE(Vanguard 2015 @ Feb 23 2021, 12:44 PM) Lady Luck took pity on me again. My huge gamble in Hextar is paying off. Yesterday I sai lang Hextar in tranches until it was about 50% of my portfolio. whatever stuffs you have there pls keep it coming. At lunch time, it rebounded +10%. My unrealised profit is about +6.38%. I sold off 2/3 of my Hextar shares before lunch at RM1.210. Still holding the balance Hextar shares. The unrealised profit managed to cover a substantial part of my losses yesterday. May the good luck for Hextar continues after lunch today and tomorrow. |

you see many stocks before establish trend not much buyers, when trend started so many buyers put in buy orders, a good example is ARBB comparing now and then.

i rather discuss about good *trending undervalue growth* stocks, for example KHIND, JAYCORP and ARBB. and hold it at least until next QR, that's my winning strategy.
