today market volatility is crazy.. blue chip counter like digi has dropped beyond 52 weeks low..

I asked the few days before when it was 31.5c but no one answer.

Let's play tikam. I found one good stock with good FA and TA. Potentially, it can fly to the moon. It is selling at a very cheap price.

Anyone here can afford it.

TopGlove is still actively buying back shares

If they are years ahead why they buy in now ? Basically wrong judgement call and end up losing share holder money.

If you look at Berkshire, they buyback like crazy at Q3 and their share price went up meaning the decision was sound and the market also feel it is the right move.

But Q4 berkshire slowed down the repurchase as valuations has already gone up. Buffett management team also has a very long horizon on their investment.

In the end, i find many CEO with great execution their flawed is in capital allocation. Hence good CEO many times failed and pay too much for M&As is a repeating theme.

I prefer Jaycorp because of the recent sell down in prices. Its valuation is more attractive.

For TG, very conservative calculation, depend on your holding period, need to take the PAT pre-covid multiply with capacity expansion in percentage, get the EPS, multiply with fair PE, at least 25x for TG, and add on the pro-rated NTA over your holding period.

if TG giving dividend, then your cost price need to reduce but the NTA also reduce.

very simple way and conservative way of calculation without taking into account any risk, catalyst or new business opportunity which you need complex modelling.

Lady Luck took pity on me again. My huge gamble in Hextar is paying off. Yesterday I sai lang Hextar in tranches until it was about 50% of my portfolio.

At lunch time, it rebounded +10%. My unrealised profit is about +6.38%. I sold off 2/3 of my Hextar shares before lunch at RM1.210. Still holding the balance Hextar shares.

The unrealised profit managed to cover a substantial part of my losses yesterday. May the good luck for Hextar continues after lunch today and tomorrow.

If price doesn't rebound, average down will increase amount of losses.

I have deleted all the rubber gloves counters in my watchlist.. Less seeing these stocks less ithcy hands huh?
