Good job to everyone who profited from this bull run.
Bought more Genting today. Hopefully when things calm down, I’ll be able to gain some return. Don’t have to look at my portfolio every hour anymore |

Brace for impact tomorrow. I watch Chinese news channel on Astro with my dad just now. And it’s basically bearish propaganda for a whopping 20-minutes air-time. I’ve never seen this for the past few years of watching news channel. They invited an economics professor who talked about how significantly overvalued glove stocks are and how we the idiots goreng stocks and how glorious value investing is. And then start to create some panic by showing examples of the 1997 crash. My dad already scared now. Be careful now uncle aunties who watched Chinese news might panic sell tomorrow.
Haha these value investors don’t understand the whole “stonks only go up” market sentiment exists in every stock market right now. NYSE is even more bullish than Bursa. KLCI index only 1570 points why tf are they claiming that a bubble is forming given the staggering decline in glove counters today. Scare tactics lol Btw they mentioned LKL, Notion, Big 4 for anyone who is curious This post has been edited by lauwenhan: Aug 10 2020, 08:56 PM |

Or just get a Bloomberg terminal and work at Bursa as operator. Confirm you’ll get the stocks at any price you want during market open first before 99% of Ikan bilis.
I’m just kidding because I don’t actually know how stock trading works at a corporate level This post has been edited by lauwenhan: Aug 10 2020, 09:07 PM |

Glove demand won’t be that high after the pandemic. Plus the glove frenzy might end anytime soon. You can’t compare it to Nestle because it is involved in food and beverages products which is a daily necessity (Even though they have certain unethical business practices and known to sell water at higher premiums in poverty-ridden countries)

Supermax IS overvalued. If you still hold shares, then continue holding. I wouldn’t recommend buying. You can call me bearish since this sub is heavily biased towards bullish sentiments

QUOTE(GarageSalesUser @ Aug 11 2020, 08:33 AM) no offence but what is your reasoning for this? No need to look at the financial results but are you sure they’re able to maintain the same profits throughout the next decade. You don’t only look at the current earnings. If you know about forward PE ratio. For me, I don’t think there’s any way to sustain their current ecosystem during normal days without any pandemicif you look @ the latest financial reports, what would the fair value of the shares be? But what I said doesn’t mean you shouldn’t buy Supermax just because it is overvalued from a financial standpoint. There are a lot more factors that determine its share price besides the intrinsic value. Good luck hope all glove counters fly today

QUOTE(ComingBackSoon @ Aug 11 2020, 08:44 AM) You have crystal ball? Conlan97firm glove demand won't be that high after the pandemic? Isn't this forum open to opinions? Why can't I express my own? Plus, most of the people buying gloves right now are speculative investors.No. So this is only your opinion. If you are a finance student or CFA analyst you should know - separate opinions from facts. |
