Mr Market says forget about the fundamental and valuation today. All stocks up.

Even LC Titan is up +8.442% even after it sinks into the red in 1Q.

Thank God for the existence of the stock market during the MCO.

Rakuten opened 11,000 new accounts during the MCO month.

Currently, my daily tasks at home include reading investment books, analyzing stocks and doing stock trading or stock investment. These tasks are not really possible if I am working full time at the office.

It helps to pass the time in a meaningful way.

The results are a mixed bag. Sometimes I earn about RM500 to RM1000 per day.

But hey, it ain't over until the fat lady sings!

Not good days? Maybe also cut loss at around RM1000.

It is not sustainable in the long run. At least for me. I don’t have the skill or capital to do it consistently. I only set aside a certain sum of money for this type of trading. Like today I bought 6 different stocks. 4 made profit and 2 loss. Gross profit RM316.

Definitely I can’t do it forever. I am not good at reading batang lilin. I am only doing this for fun during the MCO period.

Malaysians starting work on 4th May 2020.

Stock market next Monday up?

CCK went up about 5.9% today. I sold it off for a profit of about RM500.

The potential upside is still about 30% but the coming storm may be very strong. Time to slowly sell off my stocks and consolidate my position.

Valuation for rubber shares completely koyak unless you are just going to goreng.

Everyone seems to be happy. Good. This means you are making money.

Trading buy for me...Comfort, Kossan and Harta. Bought Comfort last Friday.

Now all up and up. Comfort up about 53% since last Friday. If I had the balls, I would have bought RM100K. But unfortunately my balls has been put in the fridge a long time already. Oh well, you can't have everything in life!

I sold off Comfort for about +53% profit today. I put in about RM8K. Also day traded Kossan for a profit.

The gain is enough to off set the losses from 4 oil and gas counters which I bought last Friday. Net profit about RM2K?

This is all pure speculation, not an investment and not sustainable in the long run.

I have Liihen in my portfolio.

Liihen has been going up about 10% for the past one week plus. My unrealised profit is about RM2K. This is a solid stock, not a goreng stock. Maybe you want to analyse it? But this stock will not spike suddenly 10% in a day.

Yes but I sold off Liihen today for a profit.

Potential death trap for those playing contra and margin for rubber stocks.

Honestly, I don't think it is good time to enter the Malaysian stock market now for investment purpose. The risk reward ratio is not attractive. Moving forward, there is just too much uncertainty in the Malaysian economy and global economy.

It would be safer to practise asset allocation and to diversify into FSM Malaysia and Stashaway. Those with a bigger budget can consider the ETFs available in FSM ONE Singapore.

Just my own view....


I only allocate about RM40,000. About RM8K for five counters. Sometimes I buy less than five counters and sometimes I don't buy at all. But I only do this as a hobby. Sometimes I may allocate RM16K for one counter.

It is too time consuming to be monitoring the share prices daily especially if we have a full time job.

I think about 95% of traders will lose money in the long run. If it is so easy to earn RM1K a day, then in one month, a trader can earn about RM20K.

There is no such free lunch in this world.

Hi bro, I only did a quick health check up. The Valuation is 1.7/3.00 and the Fundamental is 0.3/3.00.

The potential upside is 7.7% or 44.44% depending on which analysts you believe.

Overall, I won't buy this stock for investment purpose. But if someone is buying this stock for pure speculation, then the fundamental and valuation can throw out of the window already.

Or maybe you got insider news?

Bro, with the current bleak economic outlook, property counters are not on my radar. My property developer clients are not doing well. Average pay cut of 30% across the board for all the staffs and management.

Some investors may have the holding power to buy and hold the property stocks for a few years. But I would prefer not to take the risk.
