Inflated figure due to inflation and comodity prices i guess. Probably those that see the effects are O&G and cpo mostly so wont translate to alot of people.

We went a whole week without a post and I didn't want to break the streak.
The only thing felt on the street expanding at 8.9% is inflation. Even that's a bit conservative.

Inari had a blip midweek but that quickly corrected.

Those leading local tech stocks gave out pretty good returns.

Believe most if not all users and distributors have over ordered during pandemic, will use up existing stock before ordering new. glove demand will likely very low until existing stock near depleted or expired.

i don't consider as penny stock. it is just as good as a lousy stock, and will continue to be in the next 2-3 years.

company like supermax, kossan and harta will have the money to sustain business, but not topglove. maybe they have to issue rights in future, better don't touch it

over ordered yes. demand low also yes, company which has plenty of cash sitting in bank will able to sustain provided they do not do anything stupid

When top glove, etc had extraordinary high valuation, they didn't take the opportunity to diversify, they are unlikely will in the near future.

i doubt they will run out of business. gloves are still in an integral part of healthcare. but with current ASP and competition they will likely just be making regular decent profits each quarters. not much growth anymore to expect


the boss more interested to do share buy backs at RM 6 and brought tropicana down with him lol

Knowing demand will be low i.e over capacity in the next few years, burning cash to maintain existing operation and size, is unproductive, is considered stupid by some. close down a few factories and production lines could be more sustainable.

those factories that have razor thin margin even before pandemic, might as well tutup kedai
