1. This Aturmju banyak champion la.
Opening price today 65c (down by 29% from previous day closing of 92c). Bounced back to high of 82c (up by 26% from low of 65c). Assuming if the share price does eventually go down back to 65c and below, then it's back to square 1. Those who bought and still holding at 1.50 to 1.60+ will lose about 60%. Crazy stuff. Question is who can spot the next "goreng" session and ride the trend successfully without getting burned. 2. BPPLAS results is looking good. Good interest today after downtrending for a bit. Today's movement looks similar to those in December - nice big white candle. |

Hmmm FLBHD drama case.
Slowly one by one, the export comps will be reporting forex losses and lower 1st qtr net profit results. Only a few good comps are reporting better results. |

Crazy things happening for EMETALL.
Suddenly recent qtr results exploded. Share price went up to a high of 71c from previous day closing of 46.5c. That's a 52.7% gain! Anyone knows what's cooking with their Machinery and equipment segment? Can't find much details on this. ![]() This post has been edited by TC-Titan: May 25 2016, 04:47 PM |

A bit weird to see some of the shares mentioned in the "newly classified Shariah Non-Compliant Securities".
Suncon, Bumi Armada, Box-pak, Hume Industries, KianJoo. Seriously? O_o |

QUOTE(wil-i-am @ Jun 16 2016, 09:50 PM) I'm looking at quite a number until Choosing the few best one's to trade short to mid term and to invest for long term is the tricky part. I'm definitely looking at SKPet and Armada to trade. See if their price can price can hit 1.3X and 0.6X or lower. Looking closely at MBB, AMBANK, KAREX, FLBHD, LBALUM etc. PS: you think KLCI can hit below 1600 by end of this month? |

You should be a bit more objective, right? Anywhere and Everywhere can be shitty and toxic. It all depends on the reader's interpretation, perception and state of mind. The more experienced and informed you are, it's easy to decipher and distinguish facts and BS. Either way, info that may be nonsense/toxic to you may be golden news to others. Just bcoz u don't trade some stocks, doesn't mean others can't trade those stocks right? I think I3 has a great wealth of information - both good and bad. LYN Stocks thread has their fair share too and contains stuff that I3 doesn't have and vice versa. The common bad point on both forums is that there are some users with big fat egos, being very judgemental and supposedly "siput" status which can be a major turn-off. However, I3's environment is worse with some "virus" users. To conclude: To each his own in finding what's good info/intel for them. Just take a pinch or bagful of salt later and not assume everything as gospel or carved in stone. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

QUOTE(Boon3 @ Jun 27 2016, 06:23 AM) Nah... I am seriously NOT going to try prove what I said. It's a take it or leave it on THESE set of comments of mine. and I repeat.... that i3 forum is simply TOXIC. You wanna be good in stocks? STAY the hell away from that site. QUOTE(Boon3 @ Jun 27 2016, 06:23 AM) Damn! Damn! Double posting.... Not everyone is that NOOB and place full reliance on wan-tai-fu comments and blogs...edit....errr..... well I better not waste this space then, yes? TC-Titan That's one of the point. It's not easy to decipher and distinguish facts from BS. and WORST of all.... people go there... they are simply FOLLOWERS... they are there just to seek those whose comments can make stock rise asap. they don't care about the facts at all... (until of course the stock(s) go down. LOL! ) the BRANDING of the SHITfu .... is instantaneously as soon as the call goes right. what there is there to learn? or is that stock forum nothing but a source of stock tips? and if one goes to a stock forum, just to search stock tips.... LOL! and yeah... the structure of the site is good. lots of easy/good info... but the STOCK forum is simply toxic... and so is the so-called blogs. these are my views and you need not FOLLOW.... LOL! Maybe a big chunk are... If they do and lose money from there = their problem right? Somebody has to win or lose in the market everyday. Hell, u think people don't lose money from browsing through this forum? Especially those who simply hantam on some new IPO, FKLI or some hot stocks that are being traded/invested by some siput/veteran or those with X number of stars? People will eventually wake up and learn the hard way on not to follow blindly. Nothing beats doing one's own homework diligently. QUOTE(Boon3 @ Jun 26 2016, 08:00 PM) Yea...the market do price stocks for their future prospects..... Good example now at the moment is Vivocom. and this is where the market analysts have the massive advantage... this is where they crank up the future eps numbers..... The tricky part is that our market is so goreng .... To make it more trickier.... Sometimes some so called good fundamental stocks are goreng too... And make it even more trickier..... Some are goreng based on questionable fundamentals..... There is a load of wonderful prospects, roadshows and events organised by them. See what's the latest news on their CEO and the impact to the share prices + warrants. Nicely cooked eh? Their story is not over, yet. Another counter, I find it a bit weird is Yongtai. Share price for the past few months or 1 year doesn't correlate with the results + prospects. Too forward looking, being over-hyped or gorenged? |

QUOTE(kevraul @ Jun 27 2016, 10:10 AM) Just wondering, any reason for you to say why their sheet metal biz is bad?On the contrary, I think they are doing good, with or without forex. Only issue I have is that the price flew up too fast (parabolic) previously in just a few months. |

QUOTE(lynetnonyma @ Jun 27 2016, 11:03 AM) Sometimes could be that people cannot find a better alternative for getting info. +1Bad people seems to want to share bad things. Good people don't seem to want to share good things. Is there another place where people are sharing non-toxic info freely? Forums are meant for discussions and sharing info. Now a lot used for misleading and misinformation. Not much sharing of good info. Had the same thought, but decided not to post it. As times passes by, one has different priorities and limited time to read, write and comment stuff in forums. Free good quality info is scarce. Depends a lot on the person's motive and agenda for sharing too. Sometimes even when u share something u think is good, but later the circumstances change, u get critiqued kao kao for that. The feeling that someone or perhaps a lot of people lost money or had an opportunity lost since they followed your 2 cents comment or blog on a stock = not good. I like some of news, entertaining personalities and information in LYN and I3 which may be new, timely or old school but still relevant. But, my preference is slowly moving towards doing my own reading on books and research at my own pace. Hence, the need to log in to the forums to comment and discuss is getting lesser. I find it a bit fascinating too sometimes on why would "some" people share sooooo much info and constantly comment or blog in the net almost as if they are a keyboard warrior or lurker with subjective intentions and seem to have plenty to gain from their actions. Or could it be craving for attention and "missed" connections This post has been edited by TC-Titan: Jun 27 2016, 03:05 PM |
