QUOTE(nauticat99 @ Jan 21 2021, 04:26 PM) One trait I find very funny is the way ppl queue the sell and buy prices. Take TG for example. Millions queueing at 6.00 which I guess is what is perceived as support level. If you really want to buy, why not queue at 6.01 or 6.02? Sure can get. For a difference of 1-2sen? Nah! I will queue just above 6.00. Because those people eat fish also want to eat the bone as well. The same goes to selling. Why choose to sell at 7.00? Cause even numbers look nicer? I will park a sen or two below 7.00. An interesting study on market psychology. Ahkwang liked this post

QUOTE(statikinetic @ Jan 22 2021, 10:20 AM) The pattern these few days was overly green in the morning for buy queues to form, and then selling pressure turns it red later in the day as disposal happens. See if it follows the same pattern today. Mostly retailer play. Contra player need to sell by end of the day I guess. |

QUOTE(ben3003 @ Jan 22 2021, 10:31 AM) thanks for the info bro. i remember someone said ytd like MI when they issue new share for acquisition at 3.65, then the share price did not go lower than 3.8, this practice is different from private placement? Don't think there is any difference.Just how much confident you have on the share price after dilution. The safe play would be buy around the new share placement price (if you can get it). I actually learned something today due to SerbaDK.
Usually I would assume the selling pressure will come from weak holders. But due to having the RSS column, I can see all those selling are due to shorting rather than purely firesale. Really gives me a different perspective. This post has been edited by Randomization: Jan 22 2021, 10:38 AM |
