Considering that last few days, so many weird unknown penny stocks (whats the code for Sangkala again? Jk.) have absolutely rocketed up I personally really dont think today is any large suprise: it had to happen...I'm usually a long term investor, not some experienced trader, only started trading more after mco due to loss of work. But you just can't expect to win everyday.

Exactly. Take the recent gold rally for example. Goes up a single digit %. Then the stock of company distantly related to gold goes up 200%. A company that nobody has heard of, has not declared a profit for years. Think that single digit increase in gold price will suddenly send that company into double profit meh. Not saying cannot trade, not saying cannot earn, but go in with eyes and heart open lor, knowing its more or less a ponzi scheme and you just gotta pray you get out at the right time, and if not just accept that the risk didn't pay out...

no1 knows if the bulls will charge again but averaging down on a bad counter, to me, is always like turning the left cheek after you've been slapped on the right haha.

there was quite a huge fluctuation in tg and sm at that time. not sure if it was the said news

got burned at inix oops oh well. survive to fight another day.

The goreng chain has just fallen off a cliff. People who made loss in one counter will start to close positions in others to lock in remaining profit.
