Well, this is what happens when ppl have no other means to make a better income for them. No jobs, no increments, bank FD rates are shit, unit trusts..... casino is only for nons and not many can go now.... so where else can they go to make money? Share markets. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Jul 14 2020, 09:35 AM) I guess there are some retailers become irrational. So meaning.... unless TG falls to RM 5 before Feb 2021, might as well spend the money go cheong?Just because of the got the name in front, then straight away buy. Remind me, decades ago that bond price went over RM1.00 or above its par value due to similar bull frenzy. It is crazy to buy put warrant when mother share is going up. Put warrant should go in reverse with the mother share. It indicates the fever is high on gloves. Please read this info. The HB exercise price for the put warrant is RM5.00. It means if the mothershare doesn't drop below RM5.00 when matures (feb 2021), the HB doesn't have any value. It means if buy and hold HB until it matures, and mothershare doesn't drop to Rm5 below, entire money invested in HB will evaporate. BTW, I want to buy some call warrants for Harta.... so if the exercise price is RM 12, so long the share remains above RM 12 at maturity, I earn money? |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Jul 14 2020, 09:45 AM) It is supermx-HB, the exercise price is RM5.00. Well, the call warrants I am buying are around 60 cents for 1000 units (think that's 10 lots?). And maturity is end of year with exercise price of RM 12. So, if I buy lets say 1000 units, and during maturity the mother share is RM 15, means I untung RM 3 per unit?An european style Put warrant, an opposite cousin of call warrant. Yes, if the settlement price when matures is above exercise price, then the issuing investment bank will pay you money back, aka the difference between exercise price and settlement price. But you need to count properly, as you need to pay for price of the call warrant you bought, as normally, it is traded at a premium. |

QUOTE(cherroy @ Jul 14 2020, 09:53 AM) You need to check the ratio of exercise as well, whether it is 10:1, or 20:1. etc. What happens if exercise ratio is 10:1 or 20:1? Meaning 10 times or 20 times of the usual share of 1000?Normally or most call warrant exercise ratio won't be 1:1. The above answer is right, if the exercise ratio is 1:1 |

QUOTE(Marcus5003 @ Jul 14 2020, 10:28 AM) if plan to keep, top up harta or TG would be better? personal preference is harta (abit undervalue IMO) but now TG is the boss of gloves now and TG is still unstopable as TP is over 30+...need some opinion on this Suggest keep both. Kossan if even possible. Supermax if you have extra cash. |

QUOTE(attentional @ Jul 14 2020, 11:22 AM) My portfolio as of Jan 2020 (loss around 50k) I got burned by this 2. Chasing dividends. But it's a lesson.- AirAsia - Petron - Velesto - MYEG - Sapura Energy Sold off everything and bought TG, Kossan, Harta and Super. Not only I recovered my previous loss, I'm in green now |
