You need to set up the dominos first for conditions to be right for a gamma squeeze.
RSS for Gloves I think was at most around 3 - 5% at most. Not enough mass for a squeeze.

For comparison, the GameStop situation is so ridiculous because 138% of it's stocks were shorted.
The magnification are the dominos. It means that all the shares in the pool were shorted, institutions who then had bought the shares sold on the short trade lent it out again for more shorts.
