this TG, strong support at 8.80. Just now drop break EMA20 already but those chartist still die die push back to 8.80. hahahaha

eMA 50 and MA70 so close to each other. Once drop break, double effect lor. Be careful.

but if Rubberex can stabilize after return to normal from overbrought, then maybe can temporary stabilize the glove sector. This round of rally is sparked by this stupid Rubberex, which has no big hand pressing down. haha. really trapped a lot of sheep.

I only have 4.11 k+ with 10biji. Paper loss 4.1k now.

Thinking hard today didn’t escape at 4 or 3.90.

Haiz what to do. I don’t think would get back on top 4-4.10. At these period have observe long then only got in yesterday.

Dunno what happen today, I know took profit but the correction is huge.

And I lose hope this Friday QR release.

i hv lots of carepls too. luch time refuse to cut lost, that time lost not that much. but ed up cut lost at 4:55 and lost lots.  diff ppl diff strategy. hope tomorrow will be a better day.

Option 1

If you had bought glove stocks at the peak price, just cut loss at -10% and look for a better stock to buy or a better re-entry price.

Option 2

Or if you have faith, you may continue to average down by buying in batches when it falls every -10%. The problem with this approach as highlighted by Cherroy and from my observations are :

1.  You need nerves of steel
2.  You may not have the bullets to average down
3.  Lack of discipline to average down every 10%
4.  The stock may not come back.

I suspect most investors will choose Option 1. Just my simple view.

That one need nimble skills. Probably beyond me.

I prefer the ‘no retreat no surrender’ approach. Not for the faint hearted. 😃

I looked thru some recent data...

TG did sbb up to rm8.01 in sep.
EPF incr stake from 4+ to 5.4% sometime mid sep, estimated price avg 8.00.
TG low price today was 8.59, closing 8.88.
Perhaps it is safe to say the profit taking is largely done.

Riverstone on sgx also took a similar hit today, sgd0.19 or 4.9%, closing at 3.69.
EPF holds 5.1%, bought at 3.29.
EPF is one of 4 big investors, the other 3 hold much bigger shares.
The biggest one is the chairman n ceo, about 52%; he bought some more just last week at 3.77.
Here, i also think the profit taking is probably over.

Unless the selldown is caused by some other reason.
