the thing abt forex is you will not dare to put your entire bursa's portfolio fund with some overseas fx brokers, would u?

also fx is a zero sum game where you pit your skill against world best algo against your dealing desk brokers with plenty of hidden costs like widen spread stop hunting overnight fees etc; while stocks investing is win-win (both company and investors) value creation game where there is an intrinsic purpose to stay vested in growth companies at given valued price.

So let's ask a simpler question: if you can't read a company performance, would you be able to read an entire country's economy (actually 2 countries since it's a pair)?

Lol. You do know some Forex brokers trade against you? After you buy in, they will sell. Not to mention the plethora of sophisticated algorithms trading against each other. No one trades Forex manually anymore. The naked traders are all scammers. To add insult to injury, if you use leverage, you die faster. It is a gamblers' fallacy that Forex is some kind of multiplier to the boring stock market when in fact the use of leverage and the unregulated market can quickly burn a hole in someone's account. You are betting on/against a currency, what sort of indicators do you have? At least for stocks/options, you can make an educated gamble/guess albeit not being accurate every single time.
