QUOTE(ry8128 @ Jul 30 2020, 06:40 PM) Bro, dun see the price of stocks when u playing. Regardless the stock price is cheap or expensive, the amount u gain is the same if your budget is fixed). Interesting.Just focus what is the budget u wan. Eg, today u set aside 10k to invest. So just look which stock has the best potential return of your 10k, then buy it. DO NOT look at the stock of the price, as your profit is based on the percentage of the 10k u invest, and is not based on the number of stocks u have. TLDR: profit in share is based on percentage gain, not based on how many units u have. But we need to calculate broke fees as well right. Even with 10% gain but not enough to cover broker fees .. cry |

Question to everyone one
When you get a profit say +20%. Do you guys sell of all or just sell of the profit portion. Remain the capital that invested earlier. Pro: your Share might go up again. Still can have dividend payout Cons: pay extra Brooker fees if wanted to sell again Anything cons about it? Please share. This post has been edited by yahiko: Aug 1 2020, 07:19 PM |

QUOTE(infested_ysy @ Aug 1 2020, 08:27 PM) That's the question isn't it? Which means sold all and reenter again?I always fantasize myself buying a miracle stock that's RM1 now but will be worth RM50 5-10 years later, but whenever the stock prices go up too much, I'll keep questioning myself if it's already at its peak and I'll be foolish to not sell at 30~50% profit before it might go back down and never recover to the previous peak. Like careplus. I just traded it a couple times during the last few months. The earliest I bought, it was only RM1 lmao |

short-selling has been suspended until 31 December 2020
any example for this ? “Going short” or “short selling” intraday means that you expect a share price to go down during the trading day (opening hours of the stock market) and take a position accordingly. ... You sell at a higher price and then buy it when the price goes down. aint this is the practice for stock? |

QUOTE(lauwenhan @ Aug 3 2020, 09:39 PM) It is supplementary company. Very small cap company. Big 4 is?Yes, I bought all Big 4 but I’m just a small retail investor. I really do not recommend Esceram unless you wanna swing trade and sell immediately. But from experience, retail investors rarely beat the market. Also, just take a look at the Esceram forum. You’ll get an idea. Today, there seemed to be no selling pressure because once limit up, the price stops moving. Tomorrow market open you might see the ticker in red. I saw a lot of big funds making sell queues during market close today. Trade with caution. |

QUOTE(ry8128 @ Aug 3 2020, 10:02 PM) The reason esceram can go up is because they are making gloves former, so its just logical it price shoot up when glove demand are increasing. But still, i feel the price shoot up too fast. And could be very volatile. Dah agak day. HahahaBtw, since its a small cap company, how is this company compared to companies like careplus? TG, Supermax, Kossan and Harta Thanks for info |
