No point using KYY name to promote your Tech agenda. If you know him well enough, his stocks are those bread and butter types - physical, can see, can touch.
p/s I am not one of his followers yeah, I would avoid those stocks he picked but if I am already there, too bad cause I was there before him This post has been edited by nauticat99: Jan 20 2021, 11:43 AM |

Bankers collected enough tickets alreadykah? Let's see how many more positive articles coming out soon.

I went in when TG and Smax dipped below 6.00 early Jan, sold when make 20%. See can get below 6.00 and rinse and repeat. Harta looking good below 11.00. I have mentioned before, I allocate 70% funds for LT and 30% for ST. ST is used to kill market boredom. Now I am awake again This post has been edited by nauticat99: Jan 21 2021, 04:15 PM silverwave, icemanfx, and 1 other liked this post

One trait I find very funny is the way ppl queue the sell and buy prices. Take TG for example. Millions queueing at 6.00 which I guess is what is perceived as support level. If you really want to buy, why not queue at 6.01 or 6.02? Sure can get. For a difference of 1-2sen? Nah! I will queue just above 6.00. The same goes to selling. Why choose to sell at 7.00? Cause even numbers look nicer? I will park a sen or two below 7.00. An interesting study on market psychology. LoTek, -=warner=-, and 1 other liked this post

QUOTE(Randomization @ Jan 21 2021, 04:27 PM) Haha.. very true.Ok, another random talk. If the 6.00 support can be broken easily, what is there to stop it from going to 5.90 - 5.50? None right?. Same for selling. If 7.00 is broken, there is nothing to stop it from going to 7.10 and above. That's why its best to buy and sell in batches. Never put all your eggs in one basket cause when the prices drop or go up, you tend to feel as if you have lost out on a good deal and that is not good for your psyche. A clouded mind can mess up with all your grand plan, so keep cool and carry on. Have a clear plan in mind, write them down if you find you are not that discipline to carry them out. I am sharing this as part of my Bursa journey. Hopefully the newbies can learn from the tuition fees I had paid......very expensive fees, I kid you not! QUOTE(AVFAN @ Jan 21 2021, 05:56 PM) full RM or half RM are psychological price levels, e.g. TG 6.50, 6.00. tmr and next week is going to be very interesting. Thats why I said prepare your war chest!consider also the RSS techniques. if u were watching today, 4.20pm or so... TG big battle 6.01 vs 6.02... total 4.7 mil shares done. i m quite sure the RSS people were trying to crack 6.01 with another big chunk at 6.03 to back up. on the other hand, 6.00 had 4.6mil shares supporting it. the battle is not over. TG had 3.1mil rss shorts today. tmr, i think they will try to crack 6.00 again... becos avg short price is at 5.70 or so. and i wonder if LWC will order SBB to mop it up if it crosses below 6.00. shareholders gave him the 10% SBB approval not for nothing! |

QUOTE(MedElite23 @ Jan 21 2021, 06:18 PM) I donโt have insider info, but thereโs certainly a role of natural resources advantage, an economical moat, a technical edge that we have in the glove manufacturing business developed over more than 30 years. Itโs not as simple as building a factory, start mass producing and โput yourself on the mapโ. Current mkt rotational play could be a sign that money is tight. Since mkt is dominated by local retailers with limited funds, they can only shift fr HC-recovery-tech and back again. With extended MCO and a raging pandemic, I guess we may have no choice but to play accordingly. By your logic, China should become the king of manufacturing of everything in the world, but that sounds naive to say the least. Being responsible for 2/3 glove supply to the world, who do you think make the final call on ASP? China..? Or Thailand? The market is too quick to jump to a conclusion, 2022 onwards yada yada..touchwood if the vaccines donโt work, what then? How does mutated covid-21 sound like? Itโs futile to make prediction, let alone a far-fetched one. Throwing you the ball from another angle..how sustainable is our semiconductor manufacturing business ah? Not scared one day China Indonesia Thailand will start playing catch-up ah?ย Weโre going sidetrack already, actually I just wanted to convey the msg that.. the recovery counters..the banking sectors..the tech sectors..you name it.. they all can co-exist, as long as the companiesโ profit is good. As to China being a big glove player? Very doubtful for now. Go ask those using medical gloves if they would buy the china gloves or msian made gloves? I am sure you would opt for msian make cos you treasure your life. That's why we continue to stay vested in glove counters. Lastly regarding seeing into covid future. It's indeed an exercise in futility to predict when covid will end. But based on what we know as of now:- * so many variants out there and more mutations coming in, * vaccine efficacies; how long can it lasts, is it effective against these new strains? * are there enough vaccines to cover world's populations? * even if there are sufficient vaccines, would everyone take it * can herd immunity be achieved? Well Sweden tried it and lived to regret it, I suppose? So many questions with no answers. Let's wait for Israel to finish their inoculations of 8 million citizens before we have the full data. QUOTE(icemanfx @ Jan 21 2021, 07:08 PM) Gloves manufacturing is not rocket science and Chinese nitrile gloves manufacturers are not new to the business. 1) Do you know how many layers of gloves China medics wear?. Three layers!!. What ever they produce now is not even sufficient for their own domestic use, don't talk about exporting them. In normal circumstances, vendor that has the most competitive price set the asp. As players like topg production are claimed to have booked until next year; vendor that could supply would set the asp. If vaccine doesn't work, we will know soon enough like within next few months. 2) Do you know the level of trust China medics have for their own locally produced gloves, i.e the safety and protection quality of the gloves? Hehe... this knowledge I will have to keep it for my self. Dig around hard enough and you would find the answer |

QUOTE(KahiSun @ Jan 21 2021, 08:02 PM) sifu, Based on my game plan, I usually would not average it up within the same day purchase because many times the rebound is not sustainable. So I will wait for it to drop again but if there are some material changes that occur over the next few days/weeks, then yes I would buy at the new higher price.tq for reminding us on doing our entry in batches. somehow i never did tat and always do it one shot for convenience (and fund is small). appreciate if you are willing to share your approach in the case where the share price hit the 1st TP and rebound. Example, buy entry at 6.00 and got filled. However share price is showing uptrend ~ more than 6.00. Would you try to average up on tat counter or move the supposedly batched fund to other counter. |

QUOTE(theberry @ Jan 21 2021, 09:44 PM) Because company listed on bursa is not attractive compared to oversea companies. Nuff said. When u have a cleaner bursa and directors in bursa then will attract foreign fund. Yup, a good point. That's why TG and Smax are in the right directions in doing listings in Sg and HK |

To those who are late to the party, take a look at this YT by Stockbit on glove prospects and RSS issues. Then decide whether you think glove is a good buy or a goodbye!

I doubt they will continue with the Olympics this year. The lesson learnt from the Australian Open is a good enough lesson. We are talking about 1 single sports event only with a very small % of participants as compared to the Olympics.

Israel being the world's guinea pig is also struggling even with mass inoculations going on. There are plans to stop all incoming and outgoing flights to and from Israel; in other words cutting down movements as a way to prevent any mutations from messing up with their immunization programs. The question we should be asking is if they were to take such a step, does it mean that there will be no covid at all once they open up?. It is definitely impossible to expect such an ideal outcome. As such I really cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel.
