QUOTE(lauwenhan @ Nov 5 2020, 04:53 PM) I don't know about Carlsberg. But my dad bought Heineken because he said Carlsberg tastes bad. Real question: Why are alcohol brewery companies not profitable for the last quarter? simple answer is people are going out less to bars, people are spending less on unnecessary things, happening places like clubs and bars are closing down. |

QUOTE(mujinkun @ Nov 6 2020, 08:38 AM) Normally, if the stock price drop to 40%~50%, what normally should we do, panic selling or average out? when I just started investing, I was naive and tried my hand at goreng stock (small amount). I still keep that goreng stock that I bought till today (-62.22%) as a reminder to myself not to play with things that I don't know how to play with. Tqs I think it depends on how much you invested and whether that company has the potential to come back. This post has been edited by B@rt: Nov 6 2020, 08:51 AM mujinkun liked this post

QUOTE(mujinkun @ Nov 6 2020, 09:09 AM) Suggest you read their Annual Report and quarterly announcement for future prospects and do an evaluation of the industry they are in. QUOTE(CertifiedHomphobe @ Nov 6 2020, 09:36 AM) I did kind of did some 'research' and glove is probably the best bet for now. Good fundamentals and growth etc. By doing so ppl like you and me can make money by riding the gloves rollercoster ride (buy low sell high). Of course it would be better if it was only going straight up to outer space. But there's this cognitive dissonance going on here. People keep saying negative things so you start to feel like you've made a mistake. Added on with the drop after the qr and doom sayers tried to make a point of this. QUOTE(Vanguard 2015 @ Nov 6 2020, 09:46 AM) Good morning folks. I'm with you bro.Everyone is waiting for the Budget 2021. Do you know what time is the announcement? ... I have decided to re-enter Adventa this morning. With that, my stable of 10 glove stocks is complete. This is either going to turn out superbly well or end up as a nightmare by the end of today or Monday morning. Wish me luck guys! Biden win + No OPR + No windfall tax = ? QUOTE(boner672 @ Nov 6 2020, 10:01 AM) my usual website seeing this info is down(https://www.pickastock.info/). https://www.bursamalaysia.com/market_inform...stic/securitiesMay i know where you see this data? btw wanna ask:
Supermax share dividend is 1 treasury share for every 45 existing shares. if a shareholder has 4000 shares for example which means they get 88.88 shares as dividend, how do they give this odd number of shares to that shareholder? |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Nov 7 2020, 09:08 AM) this is a penny stock with news to distribute vaccine, isn't it? While they make the share price more stable but downside is it doesn't bounce back so fast after a dip.what latest news is there to get it going? or has it been over gorenged leaving some at penthouse? rm2b PAT for next QR may be a bit hard to achieve due to cmco, labor constraints. but 8b for CY2021 is definitely on the cards. another 8b for 2022 is looking increasingly likely too. from the analyst briefing slides: TG capacity/production growth plans for 2020, 2021, 2022: 33%, 22%, 12%. Spmx: 20%, 39%, 33%. each year, they each add 10-15bil pcs while newcomers will bring on 2-3 bil pcs each. add all of them together, still can't meet global shortage now by about 200 bil pcs p.a. so, can expect ASP to stay elevated into 2023. i am now more bullish on spmx than TG. somehow this EPF stake in TG and their fund managers daily trading seems to be stifling the stock price. but they keep incr the stake, now at almost 5.9%: https://www.bursamalaysia.com/market_inform...?ann_id=3103325 |
