Banks no limit down so far.
So don't worry.

I remember weeks ago Maybank hints to allocate dividend albeit reduce %.

Looks like they really got hit hard by mco.

Goreng an RM80b company when the wind is blowing against you? Haha.

My prediction is it will die a slow death of (on average) -0.5% every day until it reaches RM6.50 by May next year.

2 weeks ago when glove counters in red bank counters like mbb shoot up.

I am not sure what's the logic behind.

however, 3QR should be better so I am looking forward to it.

I try to base my long term investments by market caps really, MBB no need to say lah..biggest bank etc

of course im on the lookout for value too, but right now just inclined to park at MBB, just waiting for a good price to enter

You're looking at MBB as i assume?
*
Looks like mbb holds up quite well at the moment despite the QR.

KWAP was buying a day before results were announced. Not surprised if they continue buying at the moment.

I bought some too yesterday at 7.45 in prep for dividend.

Glad to hear big boys are there.

Utilities, banks, gloves, F&B, insurance can drop but cannot drop much.

Utilities all must still use electricity, maybe just less.
Banks, all must pay loan, maybe just more NPL.
Gloves, all are using gloves in hot demand, maybe just too pricey for now
F&B, all must eat
Insurance, all must pay premium, maybe just more who give up on coverage

Tenaga, was about to enter yesterday at mid 10 range after sold sunreit.

Didn't make it because mbb was too tempting.

Today QR doesn't favourable to Maybank at all.

QUOTE(icemanfx @ Aug 27 2020, 09:06 PM)
Malaysia herself is recession proof.

seriously? with oil trying to stay afloat, what else do we have? it's citizen? biggrin.gif

Btw good news to maybank and banks supporters. He said :"based on the data that they have now, the worst may be over, and economy will improve in the 2nd half of the year".

Still I wont buy MBB at this price
*
But mbb looked stable this afternoon session.

Cant tell the same for tomorrow though.
