The disposal was probably just to boost liquidity. I thought QES was a crowded trade so I entered my position pretty late.

Based on my limited knowledge, the main catalyst comes from their aggressive management team and the recent earnings beat. Strong cash flow and EPS growth. Also highly diversified after the Nikon deal. Unfortunately, stock price gained 400% so there is not much meat left on the table.

While everyone is distracted by Serba Dinamik, QES rose without interference

Anyway it won't be a nice report this quarter i believe. Too many of their customer and even themselves are hit by parts and labour shortages.

yes... the market was expecting at least 10 Billion... but now... it's looking like 9 billion or less....

and may I know... what is the market expecting TG to earn next year? Some call it 5 Billion, some call it 3++ billion....

and if it's somewhat correct... say maybe 4 billion.... what do we get? A company whose earnings would have declined from 9 billion to 4 billion....

now from an investing point of view or even a trader point of view....
who wants to bet on a company making less and less money?

I am also eyeing the 4.80 support for uwc. But you see the selling volume today, i dont think much hope.

My guess is most probably range bound trading as buyer want bargain and seller not ready to let go at lower and not in hurry or panic to sell.

without any catalyst, looks like it will just travel sideways and if one goes in it now, money is likely to be stuck there.

i didnt know sarawak onshore still can squeeze wat out lol.. last time nippon oil went to marudi also to do exploration but not commercial viable. Maybe petra do lower cost? lol
