My feeling? Not much feeling left. From March 2020 until 4th April 2021.

Up down, up down. Average down. Average up. Sell, buy. Sell, buy. Cut loss sometimes. Roller coaster ride all the way especially for glove stocks.

As I have always said, most of the time with investors/traders, it is an EQ problem and not an IQ problem. Behavioral Finance 101.

I dunno. The current climate in the country looks a bit dicey.

Some people forget that we are still technically in a state of emergency. No Parliament in session. Possible GE in a few months' time. Possible change of PM and change in government again.

All these factors do weigh in my mind. Maybe I am too cautious...or too old..or both!

When I was younger, I used to gamble in the Genting casino. My favourite game was Blackjack, where the odds were better. When Genting abolished Blackjack and substituted it with Pontoon, I stayed away.

So, it is the same with the stock market. Just a matter of calculating the odds and risks. And wait.

The main advantage I see with retail investors is that we can choose to make a few decent kills a year and go to sleep for 6 months. We only play for ourselves. For fund managers, they have a big problem. Need to stay invested or to make sure that the unit trust keep on performing. Have we ever seen a unit trust with zero shares holding?

Hence somebody once compared retail investors to a speed boat whilst the unit trusts to a oil tanker. Difficult for the oil tanker to turn and manoeuvre.

I made profit and broke even on some of the glove stocks.

My sleep pattern is the same whether before or after selling the glove stocks. Always sell to the sleeping point, they say.

My state of mind....definitely my IQ has increased after selling. I feel smarter after selling off my glove stocks. Joking only! 😃

Long time no see comrades. I trust everyone is healthy and doing well.

It has been a tough few years for the stock markets. Let's hope there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am back rolling in the stock market with some ammo.

Oh yes. Those were exciting days with the glove mania. Nowadays, I have diversified a bit into HK stocks and US stocks as well. The HK stock market is equally exciting!
