currently no. pharmaniaga had already started building their plants since 2018 and GMP certified. vaccine packing needs a complete sterile production plant, even more stringent than parental and hormones packaging. and most vaccines have to be at fridge temperatures, so the entire production site has to maintain their temperature between 2-8 degrees celcius.

zstan know what he is talking about. I din't do any indepth study into this industry, but i can tell you local pharma for vaccine distribution there is not much.

What you posted is basically medical manufacturing supply chain, with people like GSK/Royce, Braun in it. There is more now, that is an outdated copy. We have the likes of MSD, Novartis abbott, etc here now, but they are not related to any local drugs distributions.

You will need to understand drugs and vaccine distribution channels network in Malaysia and not just a MITI document. Pharmaniaga has been monopolizing this space for a long time so there is very little competitions, especially in public hospitals and their klinik kesihatans that are related to MoH.

because i believe they have the biggest manufacturing facility and distribution network. if TG is the daigor in gloves then pharmaniaga is #1 in pharmaceuticals in Malaysia

open tender just means someone who can give a quotation for the lowest price. it doesn't add anything to transparency. it's not rocket science for a company to open 2 more shell companies but submit 3 tenders together.
