as for me... if I was a RSS trader, I probably would have shorted it. Reason? The high profits were driven by an exponentially increasing ASP. As such, it's rather illogical to assume that the rapid growth of ASP would continue... and given the exponentially rise in the stock prices... I would have shorted it too. It was a no brainer.  And guess what? Look at earnings. Once the ASP declined, profits declined just as rapidly... proving that the RSS trades were bang on the money with their shorts.

that's my 3 sen opinion la... which I am sticking to it.

Every seller cost is different, large producers have scale to optimise the cost and may have lower cost compared to those smaller scale.

Biz world is very competitive.

In my business area, there are certain period whenever there is oversupply, large one willing to selling at cost or even at loss to drive out other competitors and gain market share. 
Those small one can't survive, out of business, then supply reduce, price goes back up then large one earn back later on, or better bargain power due to larger market share.

When warehouse is full, either I survive or you survive only. Whatever consensus is out of window.

Oil price despite with Opec, oil price also sank to very low point during oversupply period until many O&G companies were in financial difficulty.

Supply & demand and market share dominant are key factor in competitive biz world
