Wouldn't using acrylic cause heat built up...why not try aluminium or other conductor?

If i'm not mistaken, although the acrylic is not a heat conductor but heat from the fins will transfer to the acrylic in other to achieve thermal equilibrium(keseimbangan thermal). But due to the acrylic being a poor heat conductor the heat build up in the acrylic will not disipate to the air surrounding.
