tough pick.

actors may look great fighting on screen but in real life fights things dont go choreographed like in movies.

fighters may be better pick but they got used to fighting 1 vs 1 inside ring with referee, in real life brawl, there are no rules so situation might not look good for them too.

so the best bet is get the hell out and run away. most practicing martial artists advises the same too, avoid a fight is the best action.

just bikos jeki chan does comic stunt in films doesn't make him a clown

just bikos donnie yen portrays badass fighter doesn't make him better

jeki chan
-adopted by a theatre troupe
-24/7 trained in various styles of kungfu and performance arts since kid

donnie yen
-edgy angsty asian teenager in murica
-involved with bad street kids ala bruce lee
-learnt some simple tkd/karate
-went back to china as young adult to meet family
-finally learnt some styles of kungfu
>still not even close to the kind of training jackie chan had

while bruce lee moved from china/hk to usa and becomes a produ egomaniac

donnie moved from usa to china/hk and becomes humbled

a human's coverage of his own body areas are 99% and a human's motor response is a million times higher than that of an elephant

yeah?

but he does that as hobby / just to add to his trade a.k.a to support his acting career

same as statham la

jekichan and jet li grows up in kungfu / shaolin troupe since childhood, it's their life
24/7 bred with all various styles of martial arts conditioning

2,5,9 is hardcore martial artist cum actor
same story, since childhood

jai white 2 is multiple dans in every possible karate style since he was <10 y.o, also okinawan weapons, and conventional styles (mma/jiujitsu/wrestling/boxing etc)

5 is the same as 2, scott adkins, excepts he forgoes the bulk and external strengh for more explosive core strength
multiple dans in every taekwondo styles, kickboxing, and even wushu, ninjutsu (srs) and ofc the typical mma/boxing etc

van damme is legit karate master

3 is just some kampung boy trained in some tkd before he met an old muay thai master and trained under him, and then explodes with ong bak film

seriously donnie yen is equal to jason statham
he's not even famous in the 90s

he only gets noticed by the western world from film like blade ii, shanghai noon, s.p.l and explodes to meme popularity with ip man / wu xia

summary-
all are martial artist in their blood,
but statham and donnie yen is just some guy who are trained with SOME martial art BEFORE/DURING their acting career

you're getting serious. cool down. it's a proverb. you're nitpicking on the wording instead of understanding the message.

even if he is a trained fighter, he is still human, not machine. and human gets tired. even machines can break down.

if you look at this guy, Isao, current world's fastest samurai compared with a machine, at the start he is at his usual fast but towards the end, u can see that fatigue really gets to him.

lol u do realize all these record breakers train for this, one and only show right?
bruce lee trained to be the best of the best, not for only one event, but to be the best throughout his lifetime and he achieved that

and master martial artists dont waste stamina on a single punch like many modern martial artists. ever heard of "the flow" in martial arts?
using your opponent's force against themselves. you hardly use any strength in doing that.

and my point still stands

he puts tremendous amount of energy into one blow, that is why he tires fast.
the concept of "flow" in martial arts are to divert the opponent's inertia and force away, not to completely parry them.

think this, a man is charging right at you. what you usually do his stop him with a punch or kick or whatever right?
the "flow" is to divert his energy to one side, making him miss you and tiring himself out instead of the martial artists

and like i said, seasoned martial artists will aim for the weak points when fighting in a street brawl. typically the throat, chest, knees and such.
one blow will render the thugs motionless like a puppet who got destringed

Yes, that way he can defeat many, but my contention is, how many? There is a limit, and when one reaches that limit, he wont be able to continue further.

Plus, this is a group brawl, not a 1vs1 duel. No rules apply. While he is busy dealing punches and kicks with 4 guys at the same time, another few guys throwing stones, glasses, stools, swinging stiicks and batons all at the same time, how long can he continue enduring it?

I choose doraemon. I'll just have him pull out a shrink ray gun and shrink all the guys into ant size, and stomp them to death.

summary
- statham and donnie yen got it lucky but they were never even 1/2 of the rest of the other guys
-donnie yen wasted his youth - good loving family, good income, martial arts expert parents, yet he abused that luxury until he turned a new leaf after joing the wushu team

really ayam kenot understand you millenials meng-agung2kan doniyen and seriously looking down at jekicham

peak jekicham / jetli > peak donnie easily

are you kidding?

jekichan > donnie yen

just bikos jeki chan does comic stunt in films doesn't make him a clown

just bikos donnie yen portrays badass fighter doesn't make him better

jeki chan
-adopted by a theatre troupe
-24/7 trained in various styles of kungfu and performance arts since kid

donnie yen
-edgy angsty asian teenager in murica
-involved with bad street kids ala bruce lee
-learnt some simple tkd/karate
-went back to china as young adult to meet family
-finally learnt some styles of kungfu
>still not even close to the kind of training jackie chan had

jekican/sammo hung/yuen biao/yuen wah > jet li > donnie yen

donnie yen is good but he is overrated
*
donnie yen : multiple-time world wushu tournament champion. he holds a 6th Dan in taekwondo, black belt in judo, purple belt in jujitsu, gold medals in wushu championship. go look up.

jet li also former wushu champion. go look up.

i'm not denying jekichen didn't have a tough life growing up, but i think any of the 2 above will mop the floor wif his arse.

yeah but he doesn't realize or utilize his potential until much later in his life

i'm not denying donnie yen's ability as well

at their very best the other guys has reached their peak much earlier

donnie yen is a late bloomer not because he's talentless, but because he's abused his luxuries and gifts from the start

why do you think he gets to be the villain against jackie chan and jet li?

he's good

if jackie chan and jet li never stopped training and they'd easily surpass take donnie down

pre 2000 jackie chan / jet li > donnie

after that they pretty much stopped and it's donnie's time for the spotlight, and because he moves along with new trend he gets to practice jiujitsu and shit like mma

those things are obscure shit before the millenium

thanks to UFC brazilian jiujitsu and MMA esplowded in the western world in mid 2000s after the relaunch and 2010s here in asian side for common folks (2000s for avid fans of K1 and Pride)

summary
- picking donnie yen is a no brainer la, guy is like a late game carry

no no no, 7 must be there for a very good reason. my *choice, 1,7,8.
8 can take 10ppl.
1 can also take around 10ppl. which has about 30 left.
now we need 7, to distract the remaining 30ppl so i can lari lintang pukang.

ngam kan

remove mma and jiujitsu he only has karate/tkd/kungfu which he may or may not train regularly, say 30% of his lives training

but guys like jekichan and jet li eat sleep shit live kungfu everyday 80% of their lives

berus li is just so obsessed he abandons everything in life in his later years and achieved 100% self perfection utilizing 99% of every part of his mucles making him the best pound for pounder ever

1. Bruce

3. Either Jason, Donnie or Tony

Reasons? Bruce & Yuri have documented fights. Really handy to cause hurt. Jason, Donnie & Tony defines modern martial arts movies. Good to have for intimidation.
