tough pick.
actors may look great fighting on screen but in real life fights things dont go choreographed like in movies. fighters may be better pick but they got used to fighting 1 vs 1 inside ring with referee, in real life brawl, there are no rules so situation might not look good for them too. so the best bet is get the hell out and run away. most practicing martial artists advises the same too, avoid a fight is the best action. |

donnie yen story is almost same as bruce lee except he's not even 1/4 of bruce lee and not even 1/2 of jekichan / jet li
while bruce lee moved from china/hk to usa and becomes a produ egomaniac donnie moved from usa to china/hk and becomes humbled |

So i would pick donnie yen, bruce lee and tony ja. yeah?but he does that as hobby / just to add to his trade a.k.a to support his acting career same as statham la jekichan and jet li grows up in kungfu / shaolin troupe since childhood, it's their life 24/7 bred with all various styles of martial arts conditioning 2,5,9 is hardcore martial artist cum actor same story, since childhood jai white 2 is multiple dans in every possible karate style since he was <10 y.o, also okinawan weapons, and conventional styles (mma/jiujitsu/wrestling/boxing etc) 5 is the same as 2, scott adkins, excepts he forgoes the bulk and external strengh for more explosive core strength multiple dans in every taekwondo styles, kickboxing, and even wushu, ninjutsu (srs) and ofc the typical mma/boxing etc van damme is legit karate master 3 is just some kampung boy trained in some tkd before he met an old muay thai master and trained under him, and then explodes with ong bak film seriously donnie yen is equal to jason statham he's not even famous in the 90s he only gets noticed by the western world from film like blade ii, shanghai noon, s.p.l and explodes to meme popularity with ip man / wu xia summary- all are martial artist in their blood, but statham and donnie yen is just some guy who are trained with SOME martial art BEFORE/DURING their acting career |

QUOTE(duck v3 @ Jan 27 2016, 03:34 PM) and my point still stands Yes, that way he can defeat many, but my contention is, how many? There is a limit, and when one reaches that limit, he wont be able to continue further.he puts tremendous amount of energy into one blow, that is why he tires fast. the concept of "flow" in martial arts are to divert the opponent's inertia and force away, not to completely parry them. think this, a man is charging right at you. what you usually do his stop him with a punch or kick or whatever right? the "flow" is to divert his energy to one side, making him miss you and tiring himself out instead of the martial artists and like i said, seasoned martial artists will aim for the weak points when fighting in a street brawl. typically the throat, chest, knees and such. one blow will render the thugs motionless like a puppet who got destringed Plus, this is a group brawl, not a 1vs1 duel. No rules apply. While he is busy dealing punches and kicks with 4 guys at the same time, another few guys throwing stones, glasses, stools, swinging stiicks and batons all at the same time, how long can he continue enduring it? |

1. Bruce
2. Boyka 3. Either Jason, Donnie or Tony Reasons? Bruce & Yuri have documented fights. Really handy to cause hurt. Jason, Donnie & Tony defines modern martial arts movies. Good to have for intimidation. |
