Hello. I want to ask regarding iphone 6 plus fingerprint sensor problem.

My phone already 1year plus (out of warranty)

Suddenly this morning, woke up to hot iphone & non-functioning fingerprint sensor.

When i want to unlock using fingerprint, not detected.

Then, i see at the setting, the function already disabled (previously i enabled & using with no problem)

When i wanted to enable back the function, it said " this function is disabled & pleasetry again later." But it still not functioning after i tried multiple times later.

So, i want to ask, anyone had similar problem?
How much to repair the fingerprint sensor/button?
Better repair at machines or just go to local phone repair since no more warranty.

Have you tried restoring the phone via iTunes?

The touch ID cannot be repaired by 3rd party if not mistaken. Have to bring it back to Authorised Apple Service Providers to repair/replace

If not mistaken iOS 9.2.1 build 13D20 fixed the Error 53 issue.

The new ios only can bypass error 53 but you will still not be able to use the touch id sensor. It will work as normal iphone 5 home button.

Even if you fix at 3rd party you should not get error 53 unless your touch id or the ribbon has damaged. They have to use back your button that comes with the phone originally. Take note replacing a new button will not solve the issue.
