But Klopp should have reinforced the midfield rather than put in another striker. Wanyama was running the midfield when he came on.
Allen had no answer to him. Thus more pressure on our CBs.

Did you scream when he scored

a) against Arsenal 2 seasons back with a header to rout them 4 goals at Anfield ????

b) against MancsC away this season with a thumper ?????

But you are right that midfielders are goal shy....has been for years......we go for hard working ones, rather than flamboyant and goal getters.

That's the reason the rumours with Goetze. he's a natural goal scorer from midfield. However, he is too similar to Coutinho, alto he plays more central.
So how do accommodate such similarities?

Wish we had Gerrard of 10 years ago. Hard to find power machines who are goal getters as well. Worth their weight in gold.
