hi all i am a new uberanian in seremban..jz quit my job to go full time..started mid of may 2017..

i find nilai better in sense that the requests keep coming non-stop...seremban is not bad either but sometimes need to wait longer .... but most are going short distance only..house to ktm or vice versa , to shop , to college/school..bus station..

after driving about 6 hrs i get tired n my average earning is about RM50-70 per day..i think i am not giving it full shot yet...but its a struggle to even make the RM100 mark in a day...

So how do ppl here make RM200-250 per day...2 or 3 times i got kl/kajang trips from nilai n sban to cyber once...but upon reaching "outstation" i have concerns that if i go keep online i may end up even further from seremban n when i want to call it a day i will have to bear the toll/petrol...i am pretty much sure i will not get a trip back to nilai/seremban from klang valley...almost impossible..

if lets say the sun shines on me n i get a trip to ipoh or penang one fine day...will it make economic sense or in other words will it be really a profitable trip ? as 99.99% i will return empty handed.

i have all these concerns and i know some of these issues could have been discussed here earlier but if anyone is free to shed some light it would be much appreciated

tks for yr feedback..renting a plc in kl costs a lot n am not sure if i will be able to make profit if i deduct the rental ...furthermore i still have to pay my house loan in sban as my fmly is thr.....i will try to venture into kl as i do get trip from sban to kl occasionally

in sban/nilai average waiting time is subjective...could say about 5-10 mins
peak hours its back to back

I feel very cheated with uber i was targetting to complete the quest of 54 trips mon to fri n i did the 54th trip 1am tis morning n went hme happily thinking i hv hit the target...but the uber app tis morning showed 53 trips onnly...i counted n chk my laptop its 54 trips...

So i called uber...then they said my 54th trip was a sunway to go trip n is counted as a promo n will not be eligible for the quest !!

I seriously nvr heard abt tis sunway to go trip as im in seremban / nilai...

So disappointing

yep when it was showing 53/54 n i got a trip rqst...quickly went n completed it a vry short trip in nilai. Aft tht switched n drove bck to sban.

It was 1.30a.m n i was driving the whole day from 8am n even made a uber trip to ipoh frm nilai. I was feeling giddy n jz continued driving for the sake of completing 54 trips as it would end 4 a.m . So i was not careful to chk the app aft completing the 54th trip...it remained as 53/54 n i saw it this morning ... :-(

The toll was rm35 going, petrol needed a full tank abt rm70 plus to n fro..on return i used trunk rd n entered highway from sg.buloh to klia only to save on toll...

I was not allowed to make rides in ipoh...the app said not permitted so i returned immediately...

From the amount above uber portion is rm42.40...

i have a question...what is the point in camping outside KLIA ??
waiting 4 to 5 hrs for a trip that lets say is to ipoh
it would be around rm260-280...i have done trip to ipoh
then return empty...uber takes abt 45..toll 2 ways 70...petrol 70

i understand and respect everyone's strategy and diligence in finding ways to maximise their earmings in uber...but i really want to find out the rational behind this "waiting in klia" thingy...

i drive everyday in nilai n have trips to send ppl from nilai to klia and there is no any day where it doesn't show 100++ cars waiting queue the moment i enter that area..

the other thing is i went to the old lcct airport to send a staff working in mas cargo...it also showed 100++ car in queue...this really aroused my suspicion if it has been set by uber that this msg is automatically sent the moment we enter those areas so as to discourage waiting in klia
