Anyone feel that the it is quite hard to get the boost earnings? Every time I am at 1.8 boost, the surge will be around 1.7 one.

I know that. What I meant was that the boost seems like a gimmick to get drivers to be online thinking they can earn extra 0.8 but most of the time there will be surge when boost is active. For e.g. Rm 10 boosted 1.8 driver can make rm 15.50 nett. But when calculate with a 1.7 surge you make nett rm 13.75. Also with the fix rate most of the time the boosted + surge fare is about the same as rate if you take grab.

Not true, I've also encountered the same thing last time. Not for quest but for boost. I only went online when the boost grid appeared. Got a ping coming in less than a few mins later. End of the trip showed no boost because the it seems like I accepted the job at 5.59 am . But like I said, I only went online when the boost grid came on.

I'm doing more grab now. This was like a year back and I was at bangsar South where boost was around 1.5 if in not mistaken.

I don't do it full time. I focus more on grab because I get 25 % charged at uber compared to 20% at grab. There are times when I do use uber though, when surge is high. Airport and genting trips with uber is better , and even better when it's boosted. But that's still by chance.

What's the difference then between 1 star and 4 star. Seems like anything less than 5 stars will result in rating drops, which is ridiculous.

I git rm70 for 12 trips. Still not driving though.

Then just use grab , that way drivers can see where you heading to and you don't have to cancel of they accept.
