I don't think you have to worry about SPAD at the moment since news got out saying that even Khazanah chipped in some investment in Uber.

It's the taxis that you have to keep an eye on.

IINM, it is clearly stated in their contract with you that you're the one who must get the necessary license to operate. So, yeah, it has always been.

what do you mean by how to calculate?

there's guaranteed income and the rate of the guaranteed income is tied to which tier your income is for the week.

i.e. guaranteed RM12 per trip if you achieve RM400 per week. or RM16 if you managed RM600 per week.

oh, that's why i got message saying the tier for guaranteed income has been lowered.

no wonder since you will be getting lesser.

IINM, both Uber and GC app will round up the fare to the next ringgit.

I know GC does that for cash transaction.

You still need to prepare tens of RM1 tho. There are riders who would use you as changing machine.

IINM, Uber KL did offer rental of car to do Uber. Last time I check, it was RM500 per week. Dunno if they stopped doing that already.

No, the higher the FC, the better you are since Uber will compensate your fuel consumption.

if you're doing part time, be conservative in your objective. RM30 per hour is the max you can get. RM15 per hour would be the average.
