Anyone else has the same income as ieian81 ? I don't quite actually believe his screenshot. I usually drive around 4-5 hours on weekdays (in CSA). Previously, netting 100-150 is common. On Fridays, it's 200-250. Now ? Not even 100. Lucky day can get above 100 lar. But out of so many days, only 1-2 lucky days ? Admit it lar, income dropped about 30-50% after the promotion ended. Same driving hours, same pattern, same fuel consumption - only less income, a lot less. I asked some riders and they said the fare is same as GC. They used to choose Uber because it's more economical. Now, we have lost our advantage over GC already. I think it's due to the insane surges during the 0.99 promo. So it has done more harm to their own customer base rather than boosting it. So now you guys understand why so less ping nowadays ? I actually lazy to post anything, but it seems some ppl need to know the real picture before actually driving for Uber. And I purposely register an account to post this. |

QUOTE(galaxynote259 @ Mar 29 2017, 03:27 PM) Another dingo...I drove that hours before, and is only ~66% of your income. Now, even lousier income. Don't come and bullshit lar. If want to recruit for Grab, just say. If it's real, I am sure many will sign-up (including me) - but I don't think it's true. |

QUOTE(galaxynote259 @ Mar 31 2017, 12:12 PM) I am not anti-Grab, nor anti-Uber.If it is really more profitable, and if you want to share - go ahead. I am only against those who boast, give inflated / fake earning records to the ppl here - and then trick them into signing up under his / her name. |

QUOTE(kelvin_87 @ Apr 6 2017, 10:17 PM) I was driving Uber for the past few months, and I really encountered a lot weirdo people, and occasionally cute girls. Sounds more like "sign-up under me" thingy. It was so awesome guys! It was so amazing when I meet these tourists from Guangzhou in Penang, and this is what happened: http://www.carreviewsncare.com/experience-...river-in-penang |

QUOTE(destiny6 @ Apr 7 2017, 10:08 PM) Har? you'll not just need passport lo.....need your geran kereta also, and hassle procedure to drive into Hatyai..... From my past experience, foreign number normally makes a decent / good trip.if my rider is foreign number i won't call lo....reach pickup point wait 5mins if no show up cancel I will wait at least 15 mins, and 9/10 times the rider will usually call you with another number when they see you have reached the pickup location. Cancelling the trip for rm3.75 nett is charity already LOLX... |

QUOTE(8brian4 @ Apr 8 2017, 12:46 PM) is not argument, is my advice for you lo Rules of the game - this one is damn real.you have ur own points. but you live and registered in penang, then follow penang game rules. please get real leh.. try to look at other states' uber x rate. There are rates better than KL . wondering should i complaint as well peace Either you follow it, or you don't play at all. I stopped playing this Uber game for 1 week already, don't know whether I will still continue later or not. I find it more profitable driving for something else LOL. |

QUOTE(tanyuethan @ Apr 8 2017, 07:05 PM) Let have a consensus for uberx Guys, I gave out a lot of 1-2 stars to those in USJ & Sunway area.If rider rating below 4.0 star, no pick up or cancel If cash trip and the fare is example rm9.45, rider insist us to charge rm9.45 instead of rm10, kindly give the rider a 1.0 star If you guys happen to be in that area, check out their rating before accepting the ping. Below 4.5 rating, accept at your own risk. Any ride below 3km, confirm 1-star. "Kaki tempang" one regardless of how pretty or how cute, also 1-star. This is what I can do as a driver to help |

QUOTE(bcombat @ Apr 9 2017, 12:47 PM) Let them check, some even gave me back 1-star. Even better cos I don't want to see their face again - ever. I don't mind, because I have enough good rating. A few 1-star won't have much impact on my overall rating. |

QUOTE(Ron2828 @ Apr 9 2017, 11:32 PM) To all uber sifu,is it possible to earn around 3K nett(after uber fees, fuel, maintenance) nowadays with Uber if i drive in klang valley from Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm?that will be about 40 hours drive per week. Your planned time is when the map is practically white - meaning no/minimal surge/boost.Thanks in advance You probably need to do 4-4.5k before calc your fuel and maintenance. This will translate to about rm200+ nett per day. Nowadays = NO WAY !! I used to drive ~6 hours during peak and on bad days, I barely crawled past the rm100 nett mark. |

QUOTE(juicyliana @ Apr 12 2017, 02:09 PM) yesterday i kena a lady with 2 young kids.... my goodness, they eat bread and the crumbs fall all over my car seat. than the lady wanted to give the kid a milk bottle. i told her if she can wait, please refrain to do so because it will dirty the car and i cannot fetch other riders later. luckily she understands. I think Uber has no rule regarding no eating in the car. So I guess its allowed. i had to clear all the crumbs and the carpet when i dropped her off. do u guys strictly forbids eating in the car? Ya, I hate it too. Even I myself don't eat in the car. |

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Apr 15 2017, 11:11 AM) Uber giving up promos code for passengers. in the apps. seeing a lot of surges? no. I guess not as good as 4km rm0.99 one. Well, at least the map is not so "white".Can't ask for more nowadays, be glad for what is there. QUOTE I know. "tak suka, keluar". and uber was smart to term drivers as 3rd-party provider and not employees. but the experience left a bitter taste in my mouth. I feel sorry for you. Good luck and all the best man |

QUOTE(zarksentinel @ Apr 19 2017, 10:07 AM) i'm not sure if anyone noticed. but the surge area been reduced a lot. and replaced with boost which is lower multiplier. sometime the boost is pathetic x1.1. really like buat kerja amal. USJ / Sunway area used to have boost of up to 1.5x during peak hours, now also pathetic 1.1-1.2x.if you guys noticed this two weeks, KL during 5-6pm, there's no surge, only small boost, going in KL without high surge/boost really not worth it, given the traffic so terrible. Sri Hartamas boost also drop 0.3 on last week compared to previous weeks... Boost keeps dropping 0.1x every 1-2 weeks. Terrible traffic to drive under this kind of pathetic boost, most of the time you are only able to do 1-1.5 trips per hour. Guess they need to balance their book with the introduction of new incentives and new area. Well, I see even no reason to drive in these area anymore. |

QUOTE(ieian81 @ Apr 20 2017, 11:27 AM) USJ and Sunway are 'bad' areas to drive in to begin with. 80% short trips. Especially now with the LRT available. Previously still have some reason to drive there due to high surge and boost. Now totally no need to go already. Nowadays I drive even when the map is white, because some areas that I know is 80% confirmed long trips. But sometimes have to wait a while for ping. |
