The toll was rm35 going, petrol needed a full tank abt rm70 plus to n fro..on return i used trunk rd n entered highway from sg.buloh to klia only to save on toll...

I was not allowed to make rides in ipoh...the app said not permitted so i returned immediately...

From the amount above uber portion is rm42.40...

anyone knows what is sunway promo? one poster said it's not counted in the quest trip... have to be careful as the promotion will only end on sept3.

actually app only mentioned rider and driver cancellation does not count towards quest.

Coz Uber trying to copy Grab by having fixed fare pricing. But, for Grab, the driver knew before hand the fare, they can make informed decision whether to accept the ride request or not. Then, they throw in dunno what block incentives to entice you to accept ride all the ride come in.

While Uber, every ride request is gamble, you will not know where the ride will bring you to, can be short distance pickup, long distance ride, aka good fare, can be long pick up distance, but short ride distance, lousy fare. It's all depends on luck.....and now, the fare structure does not correspond with the final fare, due to so-called dynamic fixed fare pricing which only Uber themselves know how it come out.

Seriously, with the new implementation of ride sharing rules, those who still wish to drive full time with Uber, better go drive taxi lah at least got cheaper toll rate, can accept and road ride ride hailing (as compare now, only online booking) and the fare also better than Uber or Grab. Convert your car into NGV, even lower operating cost. Plus, government also constantly throw in incentives to taxi drivers during budget time.....your only challenge is only to convince public the already rotten, bad reputation of taxi drivers

At the moment Uber and Grab earning is the same. Luck, area and depends on your strategy. If you are talking about last time then yes, Grab used to earn a lot better but not anymore.

I like how some of these Grab drivers come here and try to make it sound like Grab is a million times better than Uber when both are actually in a sinking boat

i have registered for Uber and now can see my status as active as uber driver. Do i need to attend any briefing physically before I start driving. At the moment, I don't dare to toggle the switch button to active because scared any drive I do is invalid if I havent undergo any briefing or other requisites...

documents all verified already..

Turn on the switch. When you accept ping, just tap on the screen. Then when u arrive at the pick up location, the passenger sit in the car, u swipe to start trip. If cash payment, later arrive drop off location, u press the collect cash. Then u swipe trip finish / complete la.

Is there a way to drive uber at 2 states,

For e.g Melaka and Klang Valley.

If there is not, is there a workaround?

Use different phone no. but same car?
