I think you got mix up and confused.

UberX is fix upfront fare now.
UberBlack still remain the same using estimated fare base on actual distance and time.

Grab or Uber?
Uber is automatic. Drivers not able to manually input toll.

Only on Grab. And I will specifically let the riders know toll is how much. If got 3 tolls then I will let them know Toll A RMXX, Toll B RMXX and Toll C RMXX. Total is RMXX. Will be added to the fare. Most riders will understand. Unless newbie rider then more explanation required.

Promo ends. Only Grab still got zerofare and tenbyten promo going on.

Higher demand creating surge. Hence the higher fare you are getting with promo running.

2k is impossible on Uber driving daily average 10 hours, total a week 70 hours online. Cannot get that amount anymore now.
If anyone say yes, then you better show some proof here. I mean current statement. Not during NYE, promo week, 2 years ago statement.

If 10 hours on Grab (example Saturday):


Earn more but then again, you need to face the cons. Lower grade riders, bangla, ma pren, etc.
Is up to your personal choice.

Slowly sooner or later, you will familiarize yourself with the area. Especially the popular places such as shopping mall like Mid Valley, Pavillion, KLCC. Easy thing is to know what shop is available at that entrance. Mostly passenger will landmark that base on the shop at the entrance, not the entrance name. Lol.

So anyone know how many entrances at Mid Valley? Haha. Crazy place. (not include The Garden yet).

Or you can ask the passenger if want to be quicker. Then choose The Garden to drop. No need to purposely queue up with other cars to reach the drop off point.

Grabshare beta? On Uber???

Acceptance rate is worth nothing at the moment. There is no added bonus for keeping a good acceptance rate at the moment.

Boost value each and driver received is random. there is no proof to your statement.

I can also say this:
Active driver driving week in week out receiving lower boost value compare to inactive drivers. You know why? so that to attract inactive drivers to drive by giving a higher boost.

Then again there is no proof to my statement as well.

Random will be always base on luck. The system match you with a rider that you do not know but only can see the rating. You do not know the rider going 1km trip or 10km trip or airport trip or genting trip or even worse outstation trip. So without a minimum fare guarantee, you will be screw if majority of your trip - short trips.

But of course pro experience driver will tell you which area not to be online or which area confirm you will get long trip. I only know short trips area like Setapak, Cyberjaya, Shah Alam Seksyen 7 is a no no. PJ, KD and Sunway will be short trip port as well.
