4 hours 8 trips. average need 2 trips per hour. luck dependent. but being at short trips port high chance able to get it done. still luck dependent as destination is unknown.

You can..but for the interior..you'd have inform and ask the permission from the rider..if the rider disagrees..you can turn it off..or cancel the ride...

I'm not saying all your riders would reject it...if you want to leave it recording at all times..you MUST inform them..even stated in Uber's help section

Hi I just started Uber, currently I am Uber black, but y sometime I can receive Uber x request sometime don't, I don mind receive x cause black is kinda hard to get customer. Anyone can recommend whr to get Uber black request?.

last week friday, Uber started to remove cars older than 2007 from their system.

I was one of them.... Uber asked me to get a new car and i told them with low incentives and cheap fares, it is not worthwhile for me to buy a new car and get tied up with a loan when i'm uncertain that there will be future incentives / fares reduction.

so now i've officially retired from uber with a respectable rating of 4.79, 1584 lifetime trips and 1 year 11 months of driving Uber.

i spoke to a Grab recruiter and according to her, as long as your car looks good and still in good condition, it is allowed to drive even though it's 10 years old. I will go to Grab instead. in these trying times, better not buy a car when Uber cannot guarantee the same amount of money make for the same amount of work.

Uber does not have enough drivers, they are just being forced to remove drivers due to regulations.
That is why nowadays extra quests are more frequent, and also the map is practically red during peak hours.
And if you refer 5 friends, the referral fee is up to rm2500.

This shows how desperate they are for drivers.
But I don't like is the way they trick you to get on the road, almost reach target then get 1-2 long trips.
And also the quest bonus is reduced everytime you hit.

All in all, they are not that willing to pay nice money to drivers.

it happened to me last month that i received a ping from jalan sultan, near petaling street. once arrived there, saw 3 fat european ladies with their big back packs. helped them load the bags in my boots and swiped 'start destination'... it showed chulia street, penang. i almost pengsan. it was only my second day of driving and didn't know what to do... so i just quickly canceled the trip and picked not to charge rider some more... told them i can't go penang. they were all in the car already and asked me what to do. i told them to take ets train from kl sentral. they agreed and i sent them to kl sentral free of charge if it happens again, i would just ask them to change destination instead of cancelling it. asked them how much was the ride to penang and it was just RM265. worth it?

Can we just cancel that trip? Any known consequences?

If this week you ONLY have one 21 trips for RM50 quest, I suggest you go and check what's wrong with you account at the Uber office.

Ok for you guys to moan all the time, but at least state facts. You didn't get the Monday quest (54) and the weekend one (39)(starting 4am today, Friday)?

My 2 cent advice, whenever received pickup at the location, call your riders (unless u bad luck, riders use international number  )

Yup, fully agree with you. For any full time driver, every single cent is money, and safety is paramount (risk of accident or kena saman) But, after some experience, you will know which area are "problematic" which either it's better for you to call or do not accept the request.

Can't listen or believe 100% of what uber staff said one lah, sorry to said it, I doubt anyone of them, or majority of them never been Uber driver themselves, maybe as Uber riders. They will never understand the predicament or issues with Uber drivers themselves. They should go down the field, becoming Uber driver themselves to understand the daily issues Uber drivers facing, but, doubt they will do that, too proud.

After all, Uber was founded by someone who is frustrated that could not get a taxi ride himself during peak hours, while noticing many empty private vehicle (who incidentally he recently got asked to resigned  ). Ok, enough of off topic, later TS come reprimand me
