Now uber every week change pattern I also pening kepala, hour guaranteed then boost guaranteed then no same boost area every week. Cham ah don't know where start how start. I think I cannot apply grab car lei, perodua Viva cannot ma correct mou? If can grab car I fast hand fast leg bye bye uber.
I go to subang sunway morning and night on the boost 1.6 last week but wait kao 1 hour 30 only got 1 ping. What happen to uber jor? No customer jor? This boost no good, uber no ping I can eat west north wind jor.

their income definition is so flawed. It's called collection. You are smarter, so you want to look at costings more clearly.

1/4 took by uber 25% comm.
1/4 to pay for petrol, incl wasted trips to pickup/go home and between trips drive to no where.
1/4 pay for maintenance, phone/data, saman, car depreciation, health insurance, engine overhaul, accidental risk, etc.
you get 1/4 at most (peanut)

you are not even in business/employment/contract category, hence slavery category is created for uber drivers.

So, next time anyone tell u that they earn 4k (in collect), tell them that they work 10 hours a day to earn at most 1k only.

i thought there is a cap for each trip's boost? If i'm not mistaken, it's at RM20.

So now cannot wait the rider if they want to stop at some location while going to their final destination? Will the fare still the same as estimation rate? Or can go beyond the upfront fare if waiting the rider very long?

yesterday i got a rider from TBS LRT to Connaught. The address stated Starbucks Connaught and i dropped her there and ended the trip to collect cash.

she later told me that she is not going to Starbucks and requested me to drive to her house about 1km away, giving the excuse that it's near starbucks. It was raining that time and I have no choice but to drive her to her house at my own expense.

For that i gave her 1 star, vavi scammer.

anyone still driving uber for part time ? the situation still good ? haha

Perhaps in cases like this can request the rider to request via the app again? lol I remember the first time using Grab with a friend, we were so ignorant and want to go 2 different places. In the end I just request again the second location once arrive at the first location.

by the way, this morning, i use uber set destination to my company. when i accepted the trip, it shown surge x1.7. but after my trip, the fare shown rm 22 but didnt include the surge. is the rm 22 already including the surge? i doubt because last time if got surge, it will shown in the apps.

As I know surge will show as Boost... and its very tricky... they will tell u the rider pick up location is not in surge area...

how to calculate? any example?

Thanks. I knew I m. Not entitled the boost,  but I should be entitled the surge x1.7.  How I know whether uber now paying me x 1.7 or 1.5 or etc. I don't have ideas.  If surge is already included,  they should list down and show us like previously...

wah..  waiting time+time+km+distance. who so free go and monitor every trip. just dont understand why they cant do it like last time. show the fare and surge 

It is not a fixed fare for rider. The upfront fare is the fare rider must pay if the ride is within Uber pre calculated distance & time.
Rider have to bare the excess if the driver took longer route, or stuck in jam.
