Kalau murah, sure jalan punya. Sekarang ni if you don't give good DCR, tak yah masuk bid. Perabis beras jer.

I believe most of the drilling contractors willing to lower the price, but i wonder if there is still a pushing factor from the top to use Malaysian Flagged Rigs even though the offered rate above the expectation, say more than 90k? I'm talking about the operations in Malaysia Water.
Like below, in Indonesia currently they are very particular and priority will be given to the local flagged rigs..the result of the cabotage law that now includes the drilling rig.

Indonesia is very strict for local content enforcement in their O&G. We should follow the same like them.
Not only O&G, others industry like mining and power too.
one example we should follow i guess. they are doing much better and their economy much stabler then our so call pemimpin local.

Obviously Petronas prefers local company so UMW and Perisai will be at an advantage BUT, 90k won't fly. Even 75k won't fly.
price comes 1st, then comes the locality. i do hope the locals get the bid even if it means very cheap. rather then see more expats compared to the tons of us locals who are out of the job.
