i tink it is bttr if u take the pics w/o the flash n with a tripod
then shutter speed set to 4-8 sec....
see wad happen
play wit it la.. shld be real nice...

heehee thanks keinn. i have been using tripod for night shots all these while. these tonight's pics are a lil bit different. i think nicer. coz i shutter speed set to 30s, iso around 200 and 400, and aperture i've forgot sweat.gif

yup... #3 is very well exposed.... the #4 is taken at the same time but with a shorter shutter speed issit? erm... i think still got space to improve... hahaha...
good luck... i hav to wait till i get my dslr to snap snap... really dunno which one to get uyet.... D40 which is cheap n more advance or D70 which is more compatible wit more lens

just wondering if u got those with 1984??

edit:
btw, try using higher aperture for ur coins....then u wont get dof....means all coins will be seen clear...
about the aperture
the lower the aperture number in ur camera, the bigger the eyes of the camera will be opened

hehhee shutter speed for both are the same. the only thing i changed last nite was the ISO to reduce the noise and the aperture. i used smaller aperture compared to the previous pics. and both of those pics are taken around 15 minutes apart tongue.gif but i'm quite satisfied with it. thanks everyone for the help! i'll keep improving my night shots!

dof = depth of field....
i think is something like the term bokeh....i also dunno what word is that...can other photog clarify?

its like focus to certain point but then background will be blur.....blur blur...

heheh i und ady.. just read it in a book smile.gif the f number affects the dof biggrin.gif hehe very useful in macro and those portraits shots.. i guess sinchan is most familiar with this whistling.gif

i didn't feel it's nice at first but after looking at it a while i feel the lighting quite nice.. too bad the carlsberg tin a lil but cut off ady... framing problem sad.gif wasted... anyway, here it is

hehe yeps yeps it's from taiping train station tongue.gif the station master let me in that lever cage (room) so i just snap a few pics in there.. coz those colourful levers drew my attention most! hahah it's to control the track... rclxm9.gif
