Actual experienced, did about 20 runs yesterday and got many uncommon and 1 rare mod

just started this game... first impression i'm like.. "Woah cool game!" then followed by.. "Woah lotsss of grinding to do man!"

haha wish I have like unlimited real life $$ to spend on.. will make the game nicer to play as a beginner... most of their plats etc in USD anyway making it so expensive for us Asians.

People dont just simply buy the plat. One of your daily login reward is discount for buying plats, people wait till they get the 75% discount login reward before buying. And also once you figure out what item people like its easy to make free platinums anyway. If you have the time to farm them .

just joined a clan yesterday in East US... While playing a mission some random dudes join me. Asia server totally dead cant see people lol..

Huih not the Prime Access one, that one no discount at all. Most of the items are farmable anyway except for the ones in the Prime accessories. I have most of the warframe from farming, 2 of them I buy from players because not available in the drop table anymore.

If you want to buy plat wait till you get the 75% login reward, then it would be cheap, otherwise dont, resist that shopping urge. Oh and dont spend your free starter 50p on skin, you only buy weapon and frame slot for starting up.

just got 75% discount on daily login.. straight bought 50usd platinum pack

got 1 warframe only Frost.. the rest spent on slots and more slots... bought 1 sentinel.. and bought 3 mod packs (90 each which i regret later gave me stupid cards which I cant use).. bought a classic saturated color (someone suggested on another forum)... now left with 3.1k plats.. gonna keep them for later use once I'm more familiar with the game and trade market opened up for me (haven't unlock yet).

not gonna spend anymore plats simply.. most items on the marketplace is overpriced according to many (easily farmed or trade-able). So much to learn on the game.. i feel i'm so noob.

Need to finish missions faster... i should dump stealth completely and go all loud right (and try finish a mission fast)? sometimes hard to find ppl to play with with such lousy matchmaking (should follow payday 2 style instead can randomly join other's game). Problem with their matchmaking is can't select another available game to join.. totally depend on the system to assign a slot/player to u.. and heck I'm in East US server should have many ppl playing...

support the grineer or the Corpus during invasion event, this invasion changes daily so be sure to check the invasion when you log in,
but beware !!! when you support any of this faction there will be a bounty on you head,

if you support corpus : The G3 will hunt you down
if you support Grineer : The harvester will hunt you down,

trust me you dont want any of this guys hunt you down when you are alone,

back to potato, use them at the weapond that you love or for end game,
on warframe for maximum mod potential

If you really new, Focus modding you Primary weapons
then go for frame MOD,

do not get the kubrow as it will consume your credit flow,
Kubrow is OP when you mod it but not for starter, so ignore it first,


Get the carrier sentinel as it will help you with your resource,

You are clearing map nodes? Then that's the reason why you dont get a squad to join you. Not many people are doing that because most are done with them anyway. Plus those are solo stuffs, just a waste to wait for a full squad before going anyway. I'm playing on the Asia server, no problem in getting squads in the active nodes.

yeah... i just finished earth moving on to next... ic.. guess i'll have to solo fast mode then to unlock more I did multiplay with 2 ppl before.. HELL it was FUN... was wishing more of that experience as enemies are tougher and loots drop more beautifully everywhere get to finish a mission faster too since more ppl help. If die got ppl revive u... too nice!

what maps have many ppl joining for multiplayer? event maps? end game maps? some portals where keys are needed?

I suggest you ignore the star chart or planet nods for now. As they will overhaul it

Go to recruiting chat. And look for taxi when there is a mod or resources alert.

in order to unlock planet you need to defeat curtain boss in a specific planet. Soo reaching one will take to long and down right impossible if solo.

Seach for a party that want to farm a warframe. As this guy will literally take you to the boss and you will unlock that planet by doing so.

The warframe community are preety good. Someone will help.

If you below MR2 spend some 60 plat to buy boltor prime from trade chat!!
As this is good for end game run too... after you put 4 or 5 forma on it. So its a good newbie investment

If you're MR 1 see if you had enough exp to lvl up
Take the test to mr 2

Mr = mastery

You get mastery experience from lvling up weapon or frame once!

So after you get that weapon or frame to lvl 30 you will not get anymore mastery exp even if you forma it.

So build up your arsenal. Also figure out how the weapon work.
you bound to find a perfect match for your play style

just got a nice fire flowing syadana and a armor set... make my warframe look cooler! will buy more if i manage to get more plats later via trading.

I guess one of the best places to use plats... cosmetics? some of them really change the whole look of a warframe.

if you plan to use it to trade with players, then don't get those 'packages' types like from Steam. Since those act like 'starter platinums' and can only be used in their market

my advice as f2p player...dont buy unless u got money..if want buy go buy the package from the developer not steam..find the one that come with prime warframe..else you go all out free player, farm prime part and sale it for platinum its do able, i got lots of plat. manage to get all prime warframe exlude prime excal..slot warframe slot around 40+

your starter plat, dont buy item invest it on slot better on warframe slot (if u are collector) or weapon (if u weapon collector),why i advice u invest on slot rather than item for starter because each slot you can store more warframe or weapon..more warframe = more exp = higher MR = more player want to recruit for void (tower mission, this where u farm prime part for weapon n warframe)

as for end game weapon its depend on your preference (like boltor, burston or whatever) the important part is know how to mods your weapon n frame properly for better dmg output

up to you what is your aim? if you want perfect game go explore every each node..else taxi people and farm void..easier way to unlock planet is taxi peoplewho farming normal warframe in other word they aim for boss on the planet..u kill boss u unlock new planet..it doesnt have any sequence which one u should do it first..but if u want easy path clear everything la..later can go for invasion mission or alert mission.

if u aim for prime item go to recruit tab and taxi viod

void divide into 4 tower

tower 1 or called t1 (easy mode)

t2 (medium)

t3 (hard)

t4 (very Hard)

Oh u need key to host a void mission (have to farm it usually either def mission or drilling mission)

the prime part is scatter into diff tower u may refer here for the location

when i start i only using loki (normal) as starter (i register early but play later on) then got my first prime which is rhino prime then move on to farm other item (my clanmate give free paris prime)

my favorite weapon is soma prime + orthos prime + lex prime

one of reason why i love this game is because almost everything can be obtain even as free user..what u have to do is farm

yeah sometimes all the farming overwhelms me... i havent even started on void towers yet... just unlocking planets now (to prepare for future alerts/events) and farming for regular warframes when fighting bosses (omw getting a rhino... just left blueprint now)

problem with prime parts is that they require damn a lot of Orokin (very lacking for newbie so far I got 2 only).. bought an Orthos prime (polearm weapon) on trading channel then found out it need 10 orokins I guess prime warframes also require that many rare stuffs to build one?

then i watched some youtube that there's a door that requires dragon key (4 types each member need carry one - has terrible debuff on player when carry).. is that a void run? or something else? might farm for that soon as I want rare moddssss... need more of those golden nice babies

orikin cell? its hard at first, just run Orokin Derelict Defend aka ODD more easier to dropped..or any other OD map..if u aim for necro frame can farm ODA

Do Draco, Ceres for Orokin Cells. You can get about 4-8 for 4 rounds and plus its very very popular now so you won't have any trouble finding a squad.

That's an Orokin Vault run (http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Orokin_Derelict#Orokin_Vaults). Get used to using the wikia, all the information is there. Else, use the official forums or warframe reddit

just found out Invasions are a fast way to earn credits (esp on weekends between Corpus vs Grineer.. doesn't matter who wins just pick a side with reward that you like and do 3 times) no wonder i'm always short of credits :

and using stealth Loki is a super fast way to level up weapons (with power extension mods - bought a few yest). No wonder he's priced at 75 plats only at the store... bought him straight after watching this video since I'm still quite far from getting him. Hate leveling up weapons. They are so weak when low lvl (make sure nobody sees you to keep the stealth bonus):

2 of the crucial part that was not mentioned in details if you somehow have fail stealth kill scenario;
i) killing X enemy while Y enemy very close to X and if Y is still alive... he will be alerted (indicated by him going into combat stance).
ii) if (i) happened, ignore the Y enemy & move on to kill other enemy . If you didn't move on & proceed to kill that Y enemy, stealth combo will be broken & you have to chain the combo all over again.

iii) Failing to stealth kill your target will put him into alert (aka managed to only down 2/4 or 3/4 of your target's HP)... it does happen with shitty rank & modded gear so in this scenario, i'm not sure the combo gets broken or not as I did not test this one thoroughly & haven't check wiki in details yet

if you really need fast credits, do yourself a favor and buy the credit booster and spam any fast Void run like capture/extermination along with LoR raid runs. I got about 8 million from a 3 day booster and I didn't even play much during that time

as for that stealth experience run, it's totally legit. But know that you must have SUPER MAXED gear to do this

noted... will ignore an alerted enemy.. just hope he doesn't sound the alarm

yea so means even with a maxed out prime Orthos and Loki.. it means only the rifle, pistol, and companion will benefit from XP of those stealth kill.

unless if a friend is helping u kill them as maxed out stealth Loki.. and you're equipping a melee or frame that you'd need to level up. but problem is who will be that friend? haha

hmm maybe try doing low level runs (level 1-10) where even a low level melee weapon (with high reach) gets to kill them in 1-2 hits. wonder if this will count as lots of XP too

- as far as I've been running around stealth killing in spy mission due to farming for Ivara (my lotus, this frame took so long to get even one part for me) there hasn't been any alarm sounded (except when i derped out on sensors & lasers while in loki ) when they're in combat stance due to bumping & killing their nearby friend. so it is safe to assume they were like only semi-alerted i guess? I'm not sure

if you get a stealth kill you will see an icon just beside your shield, indicate with the bonus percent.

just built my first prime weapon on trade.. Boltor Prime. Gonna use it to farm for Orokin cells by killing General Sargas Ruk (as fast as possible) once it is high level enough.

he is a pain using a weak range weapon... slow to take down even with a team of 4.

halfway reaching Ceres planet .. they say Kiste mission there is good to farm those Orokins too.

Lol you havent tried the shotguns in this game yet do you? I thought boltor p was great as well, till i try the shotguns. Normal variant hek is on par with the syndicate variant for lower mr players. But the best would be sancti tigris for shotguns in terms of pure damage. And there's no mesa prime yet.

It depends on the role you want your frost to be. I mainly build him for Def & minor CC so...

Defense+CC (aka Globe (3) + some Avalanche (4)) :
+Strength & +Range mods <<<< Priority
Power, Efficiency <<<< 2ndary
Chillin Globe (augment) <<<< bonus

+Armor mod is a plus if you got space to slot in. It is mainly for Snowglobe.
Duration mod is optional unless you're going to spam your 4

Note: something to know so that might be useful if you play the globe alot.

it is good if u keep spamming it within the globe that you want to stack in missions like defense and excavation. To spam it is to stack the HP because in high level mission, the globe will get destroyed very easily.

In missions like interception, it is a hindrance due to globe blocks every damage coming from outside (both friend and foe). If you accidentally cast it on the wrong spot you can slowly move the globe to the spot you want by keep casting within the globe near its edge so that it will relocate or remove your globe with first skill (aim and cast from outside the globe) and recast on the spot you want it to be, whichever way you think is efficient.

wow, there's alot i still need to learn. and normally how u guys train up ur warframe n weapon exp? is there any nice place recommend?

any nodes that is Interception mission is the common choice. For player that unlocked all the planet, they usually hang out in Eris, Sedna or Void's Interception or Defense mission. Every other mission, you have to stealth kill to maximize the exp gain but it is kinda hard to do so if you're not invisible or without silent weapon and sometimes got fucked up spawn.
