Getting Started

Hi guys,
I recently bought a house in Seremban and its under construction. SNP done and some portion of the loan is released to the developer and I have started servicing the interest. I even paid the cukai Tanah.
I do visit my house that is undergoing construction time to time, and I do raise issues if something is not right.
I received an email today from the senior project manager, where he highlighted that I or my representatives are NOT allowed to visit house until it is handed over to me officially.
Is this acceptable? Is this legally right? Am I now allowed to visit my own house?
Need the kindness help from you guys on this issue please.
Thanks!

QUOTE(supersound @ Jan 24 2016, 10:37 AM) Well, usually they don't want you to see poor workmanship they are doing, nothing to do with safety. Like a semi-D in S2 developed by IJM which selling rm1.2M are using sand brick and the bricks orientation are slanting up to 30° in some parts of the wall. Or they are using class 1 PVC pipe and claim to be using class 7. Or 3 pahse wiring that actually using 1 phase. Thanks for all the advices. But I agree with the above comment. This is the sole reason that they dont want me to go in. Cause I found many mistakes. I know they are building 100 houses and so on and so forth. But Im paying for the house, I dont care if they build million houses. Im just asking is there anyway around this? Or the customers just have to follow what the freaking developers says?? Thanks,
