This one looks promising and likely more powerful than RasPi.

I have just pledged on site for the 4K media unit.

Waiting for delivery only now.

I didn't mention anything about energy,but rather that many are using similiar solution,then it's hard to stand out in the crowd....

The software support wasn't that nice.
Unlike Pi which have official software release like Raspbian or Noobs,
Pine64 requires user's support to install OS like Ubuntu or RemixOS, mostly still experimental.

It would be easier for you to buy RPi v3.. just that it costs double of Pine64 which is just $15.
Provided if you could wait for the Pine's official software release lol.

Just got the OS image downloaded but wasn't compatible with my hdmi to vga converter.
I saw the dos like booting, after that still blank screen, might need some configuration I guess.
