I remember reading about some people complaining about being banned for using WTFast in the official forums when I was looking for a good VPN to use for this game. Thats how I ended up with Mudfish.

Apparently it is banned by accident. You can drop them an email to ask them to unban you.

Sometimes they match you up with level 45 players. Eventhough the stats are bumped up to be equal, your skill points are far behind.

I didn't realize what was the problem so I lost 19 matches in a row. Now I'm level 38 I've added some chill and stun skills I manage to fight back.

In conclusion, just do it for the quests while you're low level. Chances are very high you're going to meet someone who has maxed out their skills.

Pretty sure they don't. I always notice the opponent's level when I get trashed.

A majority of them are level 45. Occassionally I see some level 20 guy come in.

You can find the daily arena quests from the Arena notice boards in major towns. Usually near the NPC that trades stones special items.

I'm using mudfish. Usually I select Incero or HostUS.

Nowadays I just leave it at auto. It seems to be doing a better job than what I select manually.

I'm using Unifi. I can't check the ping when I am connected to the nodes, it appears as 0 in the latency. It only happens when Mudfish is connected.

Yes, your skills are being delayed due to the latency of this game. You'll need to use some kind of VPN to improve it.

I think so. I read on a lot of the forums, that is the correct port to be looking out for.

I second this. I managed to get my FM to around level 30 before I went for a vpn solution. Adding in skill points to HP recovery skills helps a lot when you're lagging in PVE.

With vpn though the experience is completely different. Being able to continuously combo in this game is a great feeling regardless of class .

doubt it's going to get any better than that. Even with vpn routing you're still directing your traffic half way around the world.

Gaming vpns are meant to reduce the packet loss and shorten the distance by selectively routing traffic. It can only do so much when the server is so far away.

Hongmoon weapon is the only weapon you'll be using. You need to keep evolving it. No other weapon you find in the game matches what it gives you.

Don't bother with those either. Your hongmoon items will outweigh them as you progress with the breakthrough and evolution's. Nothing you find will come close to it except a dragon ring or something. Some people told me about it but I don't think it exists yet.

I've stopped upgrading the accessories at Infernal level 10 though. Pouring all my money into upgrading the weapon. Some players in the NA version are quite particular with what weapon you're bringing into the party.

If you go to BSH with anything below an Awakened Profane weapon they'll vote kick you out of the party. Went through that a few times already. Now I'm stuck at True Profane, not enough element gems to max it out yet.

On the other hand, they couldn't care any less about the accessories you're wearing.

You're right, the new roulette kinda blows. The only good thing I can see on it is the element stones.

I think at the end you get 2 dragon pouches or whatever its called. With the 6 from the initial roulette you can increase your inventory space by one row.

So thats what it is. I've met a few but I thought they were just there to complete the daily PVP quests.

It might be possible. I am playing using the Japanese voices.

The voice files are in the Blade and Soul folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSoft\BnS\content\local\NCWEST\English\CookedPC.

You can try replacing it with the mandarin files from the TW client.

Then create a .bat file and put in the following lines:
start client.exe /launchbylauncher /sesskey /CompanyID: "12" /ChannelGroupIndex: "-1" /LoginMode 2 -lang:English -region:1

And save this batch file in the BnS folder where Client.exe sits in. I can't remember the path for this folder.

This is for the JP voices, I am not sure if it works the same for the mandarin voice files. Note that once you have replaced the english voice files with the other languages, each time you launch the game using the normal launcher it will redownload all the voice files again. This is why the batch file is required.
