Update:
You will only need to pay RM15 if you pay your summon within 48 hours (Please go to DBKL payment counter to pay instead of paying online or app. Your summon only reflected online after 7 days)
If you received a summon on Saturday and DBKL payment counter is not open on Saturday and Sunday. You can go to pay on Monday and pay only RM15.
Any inquiry feel free to call DBKL 24 hours hotline 1800-88-3255

Here are the options

A) Wait for Federal Territory Day Discount Offer ( example : for 2016, DBKL will offer discount for summonses throughout the month of 2016 February)
B) For non discount period, can go to Jabatan Penguatkuasaan DBKL near Jalan Tun Razak (Refer GPS location below)
- When arrive, go to the room opposite the counter bayaran, its call "Kaunter Khdimat Pelanggan". Ask for discount, even past years summons will discount until RM30 or RM50 (depends)
Good Luck!

In conjunction with Federal Territory Day on February 1, Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has announced that it will be offering discounts for car and motorcycle summonses throughout the month of February, Malay Mail Online reports.

The discount is significant – summonses for vehicle offences that were originally rated from RM100 to RM300 will be slashed to a flat rate of RM50 and RM30, depending on the original fine.

Kuala Lumpur mayor Datuk Mhd Amin Nordin Abd Aziz said this was a good time to settle the fine. “After this, it’s going to be RM100 or RM150, so settle it all now,” he told reporters at a press conference yesterday.

But on the JPJ website, they say no "rayuan" can be made. Is it really possible to get a discount if go to office to settle the compound?😂

Mine still shows RM250 per summon on MyEG
As I have 2 DBKL summons dated back from 2010, I don't bother to settle them as they never blacklist me from renewing road tax or driving license biggrin.gif

Yes, just print out the summon and go to the bilik rayuan there. No need to say anything also. You can ask the officer to print out any outstanding summons too.

@Lohtcing, Thank you so much for your detailed instructions to pay summon [option B] at discount rates. I got summon RM150 for parking in a back alley. Today [within 15 days], I just went to Kaunter Khdimat Pelanggan, asked for discount. They offered me discount and asked to pay only RM50. I paid. Cool. smile.gif smile.gif

- Within FIRST 15 days
- MUST ASK THEM about discount or else they will ask you to pay the full price.

I went for option B today, got RM200 and RM150 saman , both slashed to RM50 each.
It depend on the mood of the officer.

However I wonder if this option only limited to this certain branch at Jalan Tun Razak only.
Can the next bro go to your nearest DBKL office to try?

You can go to Menara DBKL 1 at Jalan Raja Laut and appeal to the officer in Room 14, they only charge RM30. No need to bring physical saman, they have your record in their system.

just go to the payment counter at DBKL Menara 1 Jalan Raja Laut, there is a DBKL officer in a room who can review your summon and sign it. Once it's signed you can pay less

The DBKL Mobis apps is very useful too. You can check your summons and pay it online using FPX or credit/debit card. Highly recommended especially if you are too lazy to go to DBKL payment counter (closed on 3rd Saturday, Sundays and public holidays) but need to settle the summon within 48 hours with just RM15 biggrin.gif

if you have correct ticket, then use 'BORANG PERMOHONAN RAYUAN /ADUAN KOMPAUN' , tick 'Tiket bayaran parking telah dibeli' and submit to Jabatan Penguatkuasaan DBKL

I just paid an overdue summon by DBKL (for my dad) via MYEG, at huge discount. It was a parking offense and I don't know why it was priced at RM300 on the summon paper, dated Jan 2019.

Just got a letter from DBKL to me (car under my name unfortunately, offense by dad sad.gif ) last week informing about the discount, and log on to MYEG and noted that the summon is being offered to settle at RM30, quickly get it paid.

Got a tix yesterday for RM30, today went online to check, automatically reduced to RM15. Went online to MYEG to pay. Bugger monopolist charge extra RM2. MPAJ, Income tax departments etc no extra charge, this MYEG should not be privatized.

within 3 day from summons date it just RM15 for certain small offence - no ticket, ticket expired, not parking within parking box. call hotline to verify 1800-88-3255.

compare to MYEG it save RM2. rclxms.gif

just go to the payment counter at DBKL Menara 1 Jalan Raja Laut, there is a DBKL officer in a room who can review your summon and sign it.

The summon will reflect online 5 to 7 days later. How do you settle your payment with mobis app within 48 hours?

*
An update, RM 15 fine if paid within 7 days of the summons issuance date (instead of 48 hours) as at now. This is confirmed with the officer in DBKL JPK officer and written in the printout slip at the counter. The summon usually appear after 5 days in the system. Can check via web https://appsys.dbkl.gov.my/ezbill/index.asp or via Mobis smartphone app. Payment via Mobis app is accepted as well

Thanks for your insight and I will update based on my recent experience too:

Received parking violation summon on 19.9.2020 (Saturday) and managed to check on the above DBKL link as well as the Mobis app on 20.9.2020 (Sunday). Successfully paid the summon on Sunday through the app at RM15 with FPX (website has no payment option).

Is it still RM15 if pay within 3 days? How to check if that’s the amount to pay?

Just to update on this. Just kena parking saman on yellow line, RM60. Came across this because now doesn’t seem to be anyway to pay online. DBKL seems to make it so hard, myeg no longer can, mobis is now pay@kl but reviews say it doesn’t work. There’s only the link to mohon rayuan but can anybody confirm if it works?
