hi.i wondering could NH-U12F fit into my motherboard M2NPV-VM..(the pic of my current pc.picture).without moving the RAM cooler..my casing is ICUTE Middle Tower ATX CASE ZL02-3G-BB.is it easy to install on my AM2 motherboard?(first time).Is it fine to have the pc standing instead lying down after the heatsink is installed.As for the warranty is 6 years for heatsink and fan?Thank you..

haha no harm to double confirm..so there is no problem if i remove the RAM cooler..won't the CPU temperature increase without the fan blowing the heatsink?when is this bulk closing?thank you

hi..i just finish measuring my pc...here is the result

RAM cooler ->heatsink middle =4.5cm
Bridge -> to heatsink =3cm
the space for the height from motherboard to side panel =15.5cm
PSU to heatsink =3.5cm
Back Fan -> heatsink is 2.5cm
i'm using ICUTE Middle Tower ATX CASE ZL02-3G-BB casing
here is the pic i took with hp camera..my pc..
do you think it can even fit into my casing?from the measurement is exactly the same...sigh...

i have consider thermalright before but it seems is way more expensive than this noctua heatsink as you are required to purchase the AM2 socket and fan.The performance ..you know..Dont see any tower cooler for thermaltake...Cooler Master...hmm the design look weird...in the end i would want a noctua cooler if possible

i just finish installing the heatsink took me two hours to install it..now temperature idle is 38C+...well for AM2 you could use back the original back plate..is same as noctua...i notice it after i took out my motherboard...what is even worse...due to those sharp thing behind the motherboard i cannot but it on the floor i ended up putting in back into the motherboard...then when you finish installing it, you really cant tell the heatsink is stick to the chip...just follow the instruction srew until you cannot screw anymore....i've removed my ram cooler...

one more thing i would like to add is Dont believe all the instruction you watch in AMD regarding removing the AM2 heatsink....they say 1 screw driver would do it..but i ended up using two cos is impossible to unclip the heatsink...

hmm.....maybe is just me...i cant get the first clip loose with just one screw driver...tried few times, halfway the clip go back inside and i was so afraid i might applied too much pressure that it might damage my chipset..so i end using one screw driver to push down the clip and second screw to push the clip out..
