QUOTE(jimmy_none @ Feb 3 2007, 09:04 PM) i have consider thermalright before but it seems is way more expensive than this noctua heatsink as you are required to purchase the AM2 socket and fan.The performance ..you know..Dont see any tower cooler for thermaltake...Cooler Master...hmm the design look weird...in the end i would want a noctua cooler if possible |

QUOTE(kingsthii @ Feb 5 2007, 12:19 PM) Dnt know how to measure lo.. u see my board pic la.. the heatsink of chipset so big, and the two pins are separated far.. and Nc-u6 pins is so close, can i know its length btw two pins ?? As I mentioned in previous post, the length between the two pin is 90 mm, and of course that is in straight line, when you put it in to the cooler, most probably it will not reach 90mm...so you can try to measure the length of the two holes for your chipset heatsink there first, very easy, just use ruler lor...if cannot use ruler, use string or paper to measure, then measure with ruler...hope this help... Note: but for your chipset, if it is NB and SB together there, NC-U6 will not be an option for you as it cannot cover both your chipset... |

QUOTE(irangan @ Feb 5 2007, 09:52 PM) Firstly, I need to say sorry for what I going to say. Like I stated last week, I went to the customs to get a confirmation on the taxes matters on the heatsinks. Today I recieved a reply from them and it is a bad news. THERE WILL BE TAXES ON THE GOODS. So I had to review the pricing for the goods that I am selling. Actually only add RM5 to RM10 is ok lor, I think most people will stay with the bulk lor... NH-U12F, Old Price=RM200, New Price=RM210 NH-U12, Old Price=RM170, New Price=RM180 NH-U6, Old Price=RM90, New Price=RM95 Really sorry for informing you guys at such last minutes. If can, I dont wish to increase the price but if i dont, I cant even get a break even on the bulk. I am cool if you guys wish to cancel your order. Just inform me and I will remove your name from the listing. Again sorry for all the trouble and waiting. Thanks for your patience. Added on February 5, 2007, 9:56 pm yeah.. quite impossible. hehe good to hear that it can fit into your ICute Casing. this heatsink cant fit my casing I will try to get it here ASAP. QUOTE *** i still wonder why the chipset call NH-U6.It supposed can support 6cm fan right?? Actually it is NC-U6... This post has been edited by Kataro: Feb 5 2007, 11:10 PM |

QUOTE(kingsthii @ Feb 15 2007, 05:33 PM) anyone can kindly upload motherboard with Nc-u6 pic for me to see? How can it turn 120 to suit the board. thx you.. hi kingsthii, NC-U6 will not be able to fit into your NB chipset there as you show in the photo there the chipset is not in the center...if in the center, maybe still can fit in... I just received my board today, I take out its chipset heatsink , only one chipset there... you see the picture, it just under the display card,, my display is Palit 256mb 7600gs ddr3 450mhz, i just think can i turn it to suit into, i just wonder if it can do it. coz the componet of display card is near there. Pin is not the problem, coz it has two pins there can fit into, length is around 6.8cm ![]() ![]() As you can see from above picture, the push pin mounting bracket can only be fit in if both length of the pin hole from the center of the chipset is same... for your case, both length of pin hole from center is not the same...rather hard to install any after market cooler...blame to stupid MSI making the NB chipset cooler in that way... edited to add: btw...you gc is same with mine... QUOTE(Polaris @ Feb 20 2007, 02:50 PM) You mean NC-U6 or NH-12F? If NC-U6, no problem at all as it can be turn 120 degree...very flexible... If NH-12F, might have clearance problem with PCI-e slot and RAM slot to place it to push the air to rear...you might want to measure the length between PCI-e slot and RAM slot, see got enough 126mm+ or not...and remember to measure from the center of the processor where you can see the screw there... hope you get what I mean... |

QUOTE(Polaris @ Feb 21 2007, 08:07 AM) This is the pic from a site, I emailed this question to Noctua support as well. edit - yes, am looking for the NH-12F. Not sure how to go about measuring the space though. You can measure the total length from AGP slot (haha...I make a mistake in previous post saying it is PCI-e slot You should measure from pin hole there which is the yellow line in above picture there to RAM slot, and from yellow line there to AGP slot...if both side have more than 63mm, then can fit for push air to rear casing...if push air to PSU, then should be no problem at all... |

QUOTE(Xanaris @ Feb 21 2007, 08:19 PM) I think the only thing you need to worry is will it have clearance problem with your PSU in case you fix it push air to rear (180 degree) as I can see your processor is very near to the edge... |
