Hi Guys

I need to find out which telco have good data coverage in Genting highland.

I am using U mobile and their data coverage in Genting really sucks.

Please help to provide feedback of your data experience in Genting.

Thank you and appreciate serious reply only.

Maxis 3G only, Celcom 4G with 3G all the way, DiGi 4G+ , so either choose Celcom if you want stability or DiGi if u want speed

BUT AVOID U MOBILE,(no 3g at all) if u frequently go to Genting Sempah only use CELCOM, the rest only reliable for making calls

I was at Genting OneWorld Hotel for 2 nights. Using DiGi with hotspot for family to share. Very smooth, no problem at all.

Yalor...once no more outdoor park.
Less people

But once the outdoor park ready.
Congestion will come back again.

Hahaha

Now everything need to pay at Genting.
Park pay...
Even let say go outing one day.

Take Express Comfortable bus from Titiwangsa
Rm10 one way

But then need to calculate $$ to get to Titiwangsa.

At Awana rm8 cable car one way..
que some more
Faster take uber..Grab..rm10 one way

Now it is expensive outing at Genting.
Food...Drinks...you calculate

Maybe that the reason no more congestion now.

Bro, the pattern in the last 2-3 years for digi offers is somewhat like this ... nov-dec they'll give some teaser deals ... mid jan till end feb will be the sweetest deals ... then no more sweetheart deals ... rest of the year will be 1 day limited offers .... I managed to ngam-ngam get ND5 on the last sms offer ...

Had no issues with Digi recently

Very fast and stable in genting, some places had 2G though

We went as a group but we couldn’t call our maxis friends when we were going up genting. Went straight to voicemail for them.

went there early in 2022. Using UMobile no issues at GPO, First World, and even Sky Avenue. Good 4G signal and comparing my friend who is on Maxis and Celcom 4G signal sometimes 2 bar vs UMobile full where sitting in the same restaurant.

But UMobile may not be so good during the route to Genting highlands..though as their 4G coverage is still not as widely spread as Maxis/Celcom.

Unifi air totally useless in Genting. Brought it up with me so i can work with my laptop easily but unifi air has 0 value in genting. Genting is one of the worst place for people to work remotely.
