Tester, I wish I hv ur know-how when it comes to judge a gd 2ndhand car. I also wish that I could buy a car that I currently wanted (2ndhand only at my current budget) but the problem is dunno how the car's condition.
Not an expert esp, on car's engine, so dunno whether gd or bad or whatever just based on what I hear fr the engine sound.
thanks for the compliment but the things is, i am not really expert in judging condition of car's engine also. only know how to check to see if the car got accident
before or not.
he he he....actually even experience person will make mistake. no need to say about me lah.....i am no expert at all....so that's why i brought my dad along when i really like a car. also sometimes....the car will only give funny noises when on the move.....because got loading to the engine.....so the important thing is to test drive and have a feel on the car......
very important thing about buying a car is never never never ever fall into the trap of making fast decision. they salesman will always try to rush you to put deposit even when you say you want to just think about it first. take your time to inspect the car. bring one or two person along so that the salesman will not always try to distract your attention when you are checking the car out.

What if people don't buy car at all ( Total economy recession), be it Proton or other imported marques. I'm sure they are struggling like hell pushing up the sales. I never expect the price will go down absurdly, but I'm sure the potential buyer will get attractive package or lower interest rates.
If people still don't want to buy proton although it's cheap, you will know the consequences.

how I wish of that possibility....but.....i am pretty sure this will never happen. some people just can't afford to buy car that is above their budget......there will always be people who buy proton.....like me....

.....but at least now i got a choice to buy perodua....cheap but better quality than proton....this is my 2 cents. those who like proton over perodua pls don't flame me ya.

No they will not announce it at the Budget. Any tax changes for imported/local cars are always announced last minute to prevent any panic selling/buying/stalling that might happen. And since car purchase is based on the year, it is prudent that they announce it only at the beginning of the year. This has been the practice for the last few years when the tax structure kept changing.
totally agree.....they will not announce it till the very last minute.......to avoid economy crisis and panic in the nation......
same thing on petrol prices....they will only annouce a few hours before they want to increase the price.....the last time petrol price increase....they announce it at the 9.00pm - 10.00 pm news. Then you see the petrol station suddenly got JAM till 12.00 midnight.....
