OLED TV has self emitting LED , the contrast is so deep it is virtually infinite . They are also pretty versatile so you generally don't have to worry about glare , even in lit room OLED TV will still look great . All Oled TV also come with a glossy finish that is effective at overcoming glare and reflection . The sunlight will cause the strongest kind of glare , no doubt . Even for the brightest LED TV like Q9FN , the picture will degrade under such condition , but rest assured you will still be getting the best picture compare to other models .
As for the burn in issues , it is mostly cause by the uneven aging of the OLED organic pixels. Burn in issues on OLED are rare and extreme cases ,as long as you maintain a healthy viewing habits . But these occurrence are overblown because people only complain when they encounter problems
Should you vary the content you watch / games you play, the risk should be kept to a minimal.
Pixel refresher system exist in all the OLED TV , including Sony's but they are called different name . They are meant to help clearing the image retention , which is a completely different issue. Currently there's no direction solution to burn in
Desa home was selling several OLED last time I checked , the 65 inches E7 is priced at 10999 and 65 inches C6 at 8999 . Aside from the addition of a few new features , the picture quality will remain largely the same on these panels for general uses
C8 (and the other 8 series ) remains the brightest OLED , but the improvement is marginal . But all OLED are more than bright enough to match the highest HDR standard thanks to the perfect black level
They look awesome when playing 4K HDR games with low input lag for faster response.
Sales man keeps saying burn in is covered in the standard two years warranty from LG. Have you verified it? Does the extended warranty for another three years must (knowing the price tag and you keep it for few years)?
