Hi bro, if both LG B9 and Sony A8G have the same price, which one would you recommend? Anything i have to be aware of?
Usage: no gaming, just watch blu-ray movies, regular TV shows, sports

A8G definitely , especially if you don't need it for gamings . A8G inherits all the amazing picture processing quality from the very high end A9F & A9G .

It lacks the HDMI 2.1 & eARC , so you have to ask yourself if you really want that 2 features .

And Acoustic screen surface is awesome .

Thanks bro for your inputs, appreciated! Is the Acoustic Surface useful since I already have a 5.1 hifi setup?

Larger transfer bandwidth for higher frame rate content , higher resolution , better chroma sampling , etc etc.

It can transfer up to 48 GBPS compare to the current limit of 18 GBPS of HDMI 2.0 .

For eg , both of these 2019 and 2018 LG OLEDs can internally process HFR content (4k videos up to 120hz) .

But due to the limitation of the transfer port , the LG 2018s are unable to do it via HDMI , while the 2019s can .

It should be noted there are not many device compatible with HDMI 2.1 at the moment , so it is more of a future proof thing.

Just a heads up, some good deals on Lazada for 11.11. Example, RM4,999 for 55 inch C8.

Have a look and hope someone can benefit from this.

Ridiculous. LG gsync oled tv only can support RTX 20 and gtx 16 series. No idea why GTX 1070 cannot support. There goes my plan.

Mainly due to wastage at factory from cutting 65in vs 55in panels. I believe 55in is the sweet spot for the cost vs yield. I believe LG has a new plant that will change the cost vs size and that will bring down the prices soon. There is also a smaller size version 48in that they are planning to introduce next year.

Hi there guys. Sorry to be a bit out of the topic. Anyone here interested to buy LG SK8 Soundbar? It's never been opened before and still in original packaging. We decided not to use it. Of course selling cheaper than others found on the internet.

This is the first post about it since we followed this thread when buying the LG C8 last year (Very worth it). So to give some sort of exclusivity before posting it somewhere else.
