Do you know how prominent is the burning in issue for OLED tv nowadays? Its like coming back to Plasma TV timezone like last time.  rclxub.gif

honest speaking, all new OLED come with few features to tackle the burn in issue, but no idea how effective on them...To me, as long as try not to display a permanent/static image for too long of time, then should be fine.

OLED TV's have auto screen saver or something like that if I'm not mistaken.

Had a look at the Desa Home Theatre sales. It's 5k for the 55" C8. Not really that cheap since it can be had for 5.6k new.

The super OLED TV's (W8, etc) are discounted pretty deep though.

ya..i would suggest to get at least 65inch! initially i though 65inch is very large, it is...but only on the 1st or 2nd day.....now i already use to it...doesnt feel large anymore (my sofa to TV is only around 8.5ft++)....but 77inch is way too expensive for OLED, unless you are super rich or really no place to spend your money XD

Suggest you to monitor the price from time to time and wait until year end...heard some news from expert here, usually LG practice to reduce price +free gift at year end. Unless you can find promotion price with around 11k+- on the home/ electric appliance event.

Upscaling is automated process which is activated via the internal TV processing chip whenever you feed the TV with lower than native resolution material , thus it cannot be deactivated and doesn't require manual activation either.
