A desktop 750 already runs the game maxed out at 1080p. Check the Logical Increments website to confirm if your card is equivalent or better than a desktop 750 card.

my laptop is m14x r2 , i7 3740 gt 650m.

processor is definitely important for stable fps. before reborn i could max out easily, after reborn i hv to OC my gc and turn down shadow to low.

but anything above gt 950/960m should do fine with i7.

should be ok, problems is whether u can get stable 60 fps. turn off vsync and lower shadow will help.

if you purely want to game and have no mobility issue, i would suggest u just go for desktop.

if u use laptop to play dota 2 or generally games, 2-4 years laptop will have overheating issue.

960m I'm using right now can up to 110 fps at max setting and it is average.

For your case, yeah it could, but I turn on v sync to have stable 60 fps.

950 and 960 consider mid end product, not much different.

Dota 2 more depending on CPU. Install MSI afterburner you will know. I have Q9400 with HD7970, can play sniper elite 3 in 2k with 60fps with high quality (v sync). But only can play dota 2 with high quality in 1080
