What does soundproofing mean?

What exactly is a soundproofing system in a vehicle? A soundproofing system is a system where we build in vehicles to isolate ourselves from the noise coming from the outside. 1. It needs 8 hours to complete the full car soundproofing installation with 4 installers. It is a lots of jobs indeed.
2. The weight added is about 40kgs. Not so heavy as STP Premium line products (Aero series) are used. Lighter and better performance.
