Let's have a healthy discussion here as it is not always to hear something from the CC sales side.

I believe sales staffs are aware that there is always possibility when they provide extra gift from their own pocket to bump up sales. Personally, I have even been told by sales staff that I can cut the card if I don't want to use it.

Perhaps, instead of offering gifts, you guys feedback to the product department on offering attractive cards, and marketing department on ways to attract customers.

expectation vs reality biggrin.gif if you guys notice, there is very few new CC introduction this 1-2 years...so yeah, no cut in benefits consider good when times are difficult.
