For SMS transaction alert, if you are performing online transaction, you won't receive any SMS beside the TAC as this TAC SMS already served as an alert for you, at least for UOB and HLB CC. Other banks like MBB do gave the TAC SMS as well as SMS alert for online transactions.

QUOTE(sj0217 @ May 27 2016, 04:17 PM) For promotion Chatime in Paradigm Mall, I wondering who will be spending RM150 just for Chatime drinks Think it like this, if spend RM150 just for 1 cup of Chatime, then it is totally not worth it. If spend RM150 on something you need then it is a bonus to have 1 cup of Chatime |

QUOTE(kelvintt @ May 31 2016, 10:15 AM) RM50 rebate limit per month refers to calendar month, right? Then, issit based on transaction date or posting date? Means if I transact today (31-May), issit considered as May transaction if it was posted tomorrow? Cashback based on calendar month and transaction date. There will be no posting date shown on the statement. So if you transact today and got posted tomorrow, it will be considered as May transaction as well and you will get the rebate by end of June. |

QUOTE(cybpsych @ May 31 2016, 10:38 AM) just curious, have you gotten any cashback with such scenario? transacted previous end-month (e.g. 30 Apr), posted current month (e.g. 1 May), gotten rebate current month-end (e.g. 30 May)? Yes, I have. For my case, I transacted on 1st Apr 12.05am, but system captured as 31 Mar. Ended up overshoot to RM1.2k for Mar. That transaction was not counted into Apr rebate as I swiped ngam ngam RM1k in Apr including that transaction.not shown in statement doesnt mean system doesnt store the posting date and count based on that. |

QUOTE(MGM @ May 31 2016, 11:24 AM) So far I notice transactions I did on Groupon n POSonline(paying AEON-Credit), are not based on local time. So transaction could be registered as done 1 day earlier and thus missing the CB. These merchants could be using foreign payment gateway. Correct, in fact, I was referring to PosOnline. I was hoping to clear Aeon CC balance before 2nd Apr so paid on 12.05am on 1st Apr This post has been edited by kelvinlzy: May 31 2016, 11:30 AM |

QUOTE(MGM @ May 31 2016, 11:43 AM) If can delay, try do it on 2nd day(24hrs), but not for AEON Credit since due on 2nd. No problem also if pay on 2nd, since it will captured on Aeon portal as 2nd transaction date, 3rd posting date.I wonder all payees in POSonline are in the same situation n POSonline is actually using a foriegn payment gateway? |

QUOTE(saitong09 @ May 31 2016, 08:18 PM) lol the moment you pull the trigger already more than 10sen i think. Unless the pump accept 10sen preset Preset can only set whole number, without decimal place.QUOTE(akh2920 @ May 31 2016, 11:00 AM) Just curious, what you guys usually spend for the monthly AF waiver swipe? Pump petrol 10 sen can ah? If you often find yourself in the need to spend something just to waive the monthly fee, then you might want to switch to other online cash rebate card. Or you can pay for recurring bills like Astro, TNB, Unifi, Maxis fibre, etc since they will give 5.3% rebate. This post has been edited by kelvinlzy: May 31 2016, 08:29 PM |

QUOTE(kart @ Jun 2 2016, 10:00 AM) ^ Sometimes, that could be the problem. You have too much outstanding balance. Can try to reduce your outstanding balance before applying.fruitie sis, I will definitely do that. So, I am trying to find any more reasons I can use to convince them. Similar as most of you all, I always make full payment of my credit cards, just before payment due date. Previously, I do not have any credit card with UOB, nor any banking account with UOB. Still, I do not think that that is a factor. |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 2 2016, 11:36 AM) Some banks look at different aspects, like how many credit cards, credit limit, good paymaster, income, other loans, BT and even total outstanding balance, ie balance that have not been cleared yet. For example, if his CCRIS is clean and no PTPTN loan, it could be due to high outstanding balance from other credit cards. Who knows maybe reducing them could help |
