your assumption is absolutely correct. only handling fees are charged upfront. however, if you do not pay your installments on a monthly basis, that installment amount is subject to 18% interest which is same as other outstanding amount.

I see. Thanks a lot for your explanation!!!

The price shown is a one way ticket, not a return one if I am not wrong. Mid east airline much cheaper.

Hi. I received a call from UOB stated that my VOX card is on the way. May I confirm with expert here again, for the RM 50 cash back...
1)it is base on calendar month.
2)must spend RM 50 and above online each transaction
3)spend once in a calendar month to offset the AF
4) cash back is base on transaction date
Correct me if I am wrong...

What is the minimum amount spend to get Max RM 50 cash back? Eg WISe card spend 985 (instead of 1000) to get max cash back. PBB VS spend 834 to get max cash back.

Yes for the above.
Nope, only can spend RM1k to get RM 50 as it calculates accurately on the cash back with decimal and all. smile.gif

5% for weekends; 2% for weekdays

There's a spending cap depending on the card level.

Refer to this thread: https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1916038/
UOB One has AF and some sales agents promised 2 to 3 years of AF waiver but suggest you get a black and white from them.

I tried the credit card pin creation on my uob personal banking page but it didn't allow me to do so. So I have to call the UOB IVR(Interactive Voice Response), It was still pretty convenient though.

Would like to share on UOB credit card payment, total outstanding is payable to one credit card, and it can be auto set-off against all other card you holding in the same credit limit.

Exmaple:
2 card under the same credit limit. (One Card & Vox Card)
One card total outstanding RM1000
Vox card total outstanding RM 500
Total Outstanding RM1500, payment via GIRO from other banks can be made to one particular credit card account as a lump sum.

UOB have a auto set-off against all other card.

(Disclaimer: Do call up CS to confirm the auto set-off on other card)

Why don't just split the payment via GIRO to save the trouble of calling CS? unsure.gif

that's payment auto-allocation, which is a good feature.

however, it's tedious if both cards are not on same bill cycle/date or you prefer to micro-manage each card's payment to maximize/stretch the 20-day interest-free period.

I posted some time ago about this. It's called auto portion feature something. As for myself, even though both of my Uob cards shared the same statement, I prefer to pay separately. Depends on individual. 11 cents won't harm.
